Read this a little earlier. Terrible tragedy. Deepest condolences to the Heap family.

Guys and Ladies please pray for this guy and his wife--they really must need the soothing power of the Almighty. When I heard this today I couldn't get it out of my mind.

I put myself in his shoes, can't imagine losing one of my kids like this. So awful, feel for him and his family.

This happened to a family friend except the victim was his grandson. Totally wrecked the family because his daughter in law couldn't ever get to a point where she could be around him. If you have children anywhere on the property, do a quick walk around.

As a father to a daughter, this breaks my heart. I still haven't been able to even read the story. Absolutely tragic and I pray that the Heap family can find a way to stick together.

Theres a Contemporary Christian musical artist, Steven Curtis Chapman, whose son accidentally did the same thing to his 3 year old sister. I cannot imagine the guilt & depression that would likely accompany something like this. The Chapmans have worked hard & trusted Christ in the years since but I suspect it's an ongoing process. I wouldn't be surprised if they reached out to the Heap family.

Yeah I honestly don't know how someone can keep going through that. Heap is a devout LDS member, and they take care of each other very well, so hopefully he gets lots of support.
