TJ is being a wuss. I freaking LOVED the cold tub when I was playing in college.

Yes, the first thirty seconds sucked when my nuts got sucked up into my chest, but after I went out and bought some SCUBA slip-on toe booties, I was in Eden. It was my Zion.

Made my legs feel 1000x better after practice.

I'm not sure if he was previously, but he hurt his ankle during a drill in practice today.

Prophesying doom is why prophets are unpopular. Jinxes who create brilliant stratagems to defeat their jinx for the good of ND are beloved by all right-thinking individuals everywhere. Riddickulous: innocent of all charges! Lax: guilty!!

Another victory for sheer logic.

I agree with the wisest prophet on this board, Lax is a guilty as OJ.

I didn't start it. Looks like there's more than one jinx here...one too many.

:O your right! how do we eradicate them?! Is there a cure? Is there a fumigation available?

No there's a difference. You're a jinx in that what you say doesn't come true. I'm a prophet :)

that doesn't make it any better! How can you smile about it?!

^Agree and agree! How do we punish the guilty on IE?

Or sick you on them to as the Grammer Police ;) :D

Can't ... stop ... myself ...

That would be "sic," not "sick." And "Grammar," not "Grammer."

Wink, wink; nudge, nudge.

(Not all that hep on how to do the winking smiley face thingies.)

We used to call my mom's mother "Grammer". Something tells me that this fact is terribly relevant but I can't quite ....

What was this thread about ...? Oh, myths.

Someone asked about Roberson:

-- Injured running back Cam Roberson, who tore two ligaments (LCL, ACL) in his left knee during a March 26 practice, has started his rehab from surgery. No projected return date has been set.

“It’s a long process, but he’s in good spirits,” Kelly said. “I wouldn’t count him out.”

Lol jeez... What did I do to get this? I thought this was how WE punished those GUILTY. I ain't guilty... am I?!

btw it would "hip" not "hep" ...unless your truly from the 50's. "thingies" isn't an actual word.
Basic 'Hep' Tutorial on Smiley Face Thingies;
; ) without the space = Winking : ) = Smile : ( = Sad

;) hehehe

(In my defense, I wrote that very fast. As a 21 year old dude, I try much harder on getting this Grammar stuff correct than everyone else I know friends. :) )

Guilty? No. Culpable? Yes. In the wrong place at the wrong time? Definitely!

I was born in '52 so I guess you could say I'm "from the 50's." "Hep" was really a bit before my time ( Hep Cat Answers.com - What is a hepcat ). Just trying to bolster my image as an old codger.

As far as the "thingie" vs. "thingy" thing goes – Urban Dictionary: thingie – to me it's just a variation in spelling. No deception or obfuscation was intended.

Bear in mind that I let you off the hook for the all-too-common "to" vs." too" faux pas.

"Pray for me, for I know not what I do."

Thank you for the smiley lesson, though as an old dog I find it difficult to learn new tricks.

Pax vobiscum.

For real? How bad is it? any idea?!

The thread name Cursed him!!!

I couldn't tell. Went down and laid there for a while. Got taken off of the field and had the ankle wrapped and on ice. Didn't seem like anything that will affect him really long term, but I would expect him to miss a practice or two. However, take this with a grain of salt because I'm no physician and never got a great look at how hurt he was!

ah yes...I am culpable. But from now on, I think I will be a deliberate offender ;). Just to get on your nerves. MWUAHAHAHHAHA lol

Really? Gotcha, Urban Dictionary said Hep was from the 50's/60's so thats where I got that from.
*bows in respect* It must be very difficult seeing/reading all the errors on here and else huh?

Lol you know I was just messin' witchu! ;)
Yes! I reread my first post and facepalmed cause it hardly even made sense.

Okay, thanks. We'll just have to wait and see what happens than. Hopefully it is as you saw it and he'll be back up and running soon.

dshans was led down the path to hippydom as an impressible youth by TV's original beatnik, Maynard G. Krebs, the prototype hippy.

On the injury front, I just heard that Brian Kelly received a high-ankle sprain after inserting his foot into Michael Floyd's rectum......damn near killed him.

Now that you've jumped into the pool without caution, and less than an hour after eating, you're/your/ur fair/fare game, Mister BiGIF!

I admit, Maynard G. was a hero of mine, even though I told my parents' that it was Dobie I aspired to be while. YouTube - The World According to Maynard G. Krebs #3 - Basic Precepts

I actually spent a snippet of time, and spoke ever so briefly, with Allen Ginsberg when he was at ND.

I was a hippie long before I met him and long after I'd "dug" Maynard G.

Life is a series, however brief or fleeting, of intersecting continua. Always an adventure, always a challenge. Always interesting.
