Does it say that? I thought Kelly said that Massa would be back in about five months.

ACLs take a year on average. Fast healers perhaps six to eight months to be about 80%. For straight ahead runners 80% is OK. For runners who dink and jute, they may never get to 100%. Propioception is the last sense to return; and, for some, it never returns.

I think we will see a freshman emerge at WR. Davonte Neal to be on the field for Navy wouldn't surprise me. We shall see. That incoming WR group has got some wheel and athleticism.

Good predictions, but I'm not sure I would put Carlisle ahead of GAIII at this point. In fact, I'm not sure what the upside of Carlisle getting on the field in 2012 would be.

You have at least 2 backs in Wood and Theo that will get the bulk of the carries at RB. And since I think we'll see both those guys on the field at the same time a bunch it will probably mean that Theo ends up in the slot on some plays.

Then you have Neal who I think we all agree is going to be the KR and PR so he is not redshirting. And wouldn't Neal be a better fit for the slot than Carlisle? All this plus the fact that Carlisle is going to be behind on both reps and physically due to his injury and missing all of spring?

I understand and agree with your thoughts on Carlisle, but, if he wouldn't have transferred he would be battling for the number 1 rb position with the #1 ranked team in the nation as a sophmore.

This team is finally deep in enough areas to see plenty of rotations. I don't think a "starting" lineup means much here, which is exciting.

I mean Theo and Eifert will be playing all over the field with GAIII getting the ball creatively too.

Ideally, this team really focuses between now and Sept and gels into the multi faceted, speed attack it can be.

This is what it really needs to be!

At this time I don't think you can play Carlisle. I know he's good, but he's had injury problems, we already have 3 guys we know can contribute from the backfield and we will struggle to get those guys enough touches, and Neal has the potential to come in and be the number 2 slot guy immediately.

Got a feeling Fergy could come in, and if he gets a solid hold of the playbook, take over for the 2nd WR spot. The kid is a stud.

Having GA 3 fourth really says something ... not exactly sure if Theo is a"RB" but we should really have 2 of the listed "rbs" in on nearly every play.

you dont go to all that trouble to allow AC to play straight after and then go and RS him though. I think he'll play. With our schedule we are going to need every one of those running backs to play

plenty of weapons all around the ball on the offensive side. Get a competent QB and this offense will be productive.

I agree with the original OL assessment: Lombard at RG and Nichols at RT.

That seems to be the conventional wisdom. I think Kelly realizes that he has a lot of weapons on offense. All his attention should be on preparing the QBs. Let's start praying for an emerging QB over the summer.

We may have pushed prior to G3PO's explosion.

I think we will probably have 2 rbs/slots on the field at all times. Riddick and Cierre to start. Eifert might not ever come off the field. I would bet that Goody and TJ are the official starters, but DD will play just about the same amount of downs as both.

Not sure about the O-line. Sounds like Lombard is playing RT if Nick Martin starts, or he will move to RG if Tate starts.

Neal is going to return the opening kick in Dublin. Note it!

This is possible but not certain I see him returning punts but GAIII is our kick returner and I could see us putting a bennet jackson or Austin Collinsworth back there to block

I'm glad we don't have to worry about the offensive line. Without a good offensive line, all of these "athletes" would be non existant

hahaha amir should red shirt. Amir is strictly a running back per the staff themselves.
