The Palmer & Pollack Show

I would not have tuned in but I was playing COD Black Ops and when I flipped the input to TV. This show was on right when they brought up ND. Suprisingly they had alot of good things to say. Most everyone already would guess. The defense was great the last four games against good opponents. They believed Crist was the right choice. But they said do not look pass USF. But they could easily see ND in a BCS Bowl game.

No mention of the offense besides the Crist comment, all of it was aimed directly at the defense and how they should be pretty good. If the last four games were any indicator.

They did mess up some names if I heard it correctly. It sound like they said Isaac Williams instead of Ishaq, and TuTuit, I guess thats how you would spell it but Pollack said Two-Tuitt. Sounded funny but also could have just tripped over his tongue.

I'm excited to see what Tutui can do this year. Isaac can really rush the passer too.

i like Palmer he shoots straight, but i can not stand Pollack so i didn't even wait to see what they would say about ND.. last yr Pollack was killin us not even about that team just the tired old they are not relevant talk.. i can stand critics, but stay on the subject..

glad to see our team proved some haters wrong after a bcs win this yr we will still hear can they ever be Notre Dame again? so funny..

I liked what they had to say as well, let people hate. I got my new maxim magazine the other day and they had their annual college football preview and they rip ND big time....it really pissed me off

A ND hating coworker of mine is so sure they will never be relevant again that he bet me if the win the National Championship ever again he will wear a ND NC shirt 4 Fridays in a row.
At least he will look like he has some class on those days.

Palmer was his usual pretty sympathetic-to-ND self on the show. He sort of drug Pollock along on that. Pollock was the least antagonistic to ND that I'd ever heard him, but I saw it as a fake --- probably warned not to be his usual SEC-superior self by the show's producers. The giveaway that he's still in that mode, though, was that it was he who mispronounced all the names, and he who couldn't remember which teams ND beat in the late season run. Jesse bailed him out on that. People who don't know your name don't care --- so far that's Pollock.
