I'd love some background on the founding of IE and GH... Was Svoboda a big ND fan, was he trying to make some sites and eventually sell them? What's the deal? A bit strange to create 2 ND sites and then just totally go dark (unless he's still here under a different name?)

I first started skimming IE during the Shark era along with every other free site… plus on and off with Rivals / Scout. I actually built and sold atv / off road motorsports sites in the 90’s / 00’s while still with Autotrader.com, then built message boards and websites for motorcycle dealerships that tied into larger national sites to cover racing and riding after I left.

Early on, I laid out a MB site to cover all College Basketball in Indiana and had a ND Football module too. Just never launched it.

I’d love to here the timeline of this place.

I actually built and sold atv / off road motorsports sites in the 90’s / 00’s while still with Autotrader.com, then built message boards and websites for motorcycle dealerships that tied into larger national sites to cover racing and riding after I left.

Was thinking about special guest appearances over the years the other day while trying to figure who Merkce could have been. Any fun/under the radar ones you guys can think of? Off the top of my head I got Aaron Lynch's mom, Malik Zaire's relative, Matt Freeman, Keith Arnold (old NBC beat reporter, loved the yearly magazine they put out) and almost certainly Shane Gillis.

I don't remember how I came across this site, but this site has great posters with great information, and I love coming to this site.

For those who were here in 2011 during the big D haul didn't the site crash because there were so many people on here following?

Lynch with the battle between ND/FSU & his mom on here, Tuitt with committing-decomitting-recommitting, and Diaco showing up at Ishaq's house before he left for a PSU visit.
