Agrees to a deal with the Mavs, calls the clippers and is having second thoughts. Everybody and their brother goes down to Houston to meet with him, now he is locked in his house with the Clippers.

He's a young athletic center. Maybe the best defensive center in the league. The Clippers can't get anybody as good so keeping Jordan is their best option.

Cuban had a quote a few days ago saying IF they had whiffed on Jordan and Wes Mathews then they would have blown it up and tanked. I wonder now what their plan is. I don't think adding just Mathews is going to do much for them in the West. Would be pretty wild, but I wonder if they would consider rescinding the Mathews offer before he can sign...

Reported that Clippers offered $8M more than the Mavs and Cuban is trying to get in front of him before he signs.

Correct......Also reported that Mavs are trying to get Hibbert now. Hibbert was reportedly part of a sign and trade with the Mavs for Ellis, before the Lakers came through. Now the Mavs are back in play? I guess that depends on Larry Bird and what the Mavs and Lakers offer. Should know sometime today.

Cuban is about to throw a billion dollar fit... Pretty low moment for Jordan but in reality it won't seem that way to him.

I used to ignore phone calls when I was 15 and didn't want to hang with that girl anymore lol.. This dude shook on a multi million dollar deal, changed his mind and then ran and hid hoping Cuban would just go away.

Mavs are definitely hurting now because Hibbert was traded to the Lakers as soon as the dead period ended. It's pro sports and the days of players and teams having loyalty toward each other are long gone. If someone throws an additional 8 mil at me and I'm his age I'd probably take the money as well.
