I don't really think that seemed like a draw but did one of those judges really have it 118-112 Canelo? That's crazy talk.

No idea what fight that judge watched. GGG won that fight. He didn't dominate Canelo by any means, but he landed more punches, was the aggressor throughout, and did enough to win most of the rounds. He got screwed by that decision, and all the announcers and the ESPN writers all disagree with the decision too.

Teddy Atlas smells a rat. Fix on for a money making rematch. The score on the PacMan-Horn fight and now this. Effing joke.

Only explanation that makes sense. No way any reasonable, honest judge who knows anything about boxing thought Canelo won 10 of 12 rounds, especially not with GGG landing significantly more punches and being the aggressor almost all fight long.

Can't fault Canelo or GGG, though. They brought it every minute of every round. They're both outstanding fighters.

Thing is it was such a good fight regardless they didn't really need a split decision to sell PPV buys for a rematch.

Teddy's right. I just watched his comments and he's disgusted and pissed... with good reason. This sort of crooked crap is why boxing has fallen off the map compared to what it once was. The fans no longer have any faith in the sport's integrity.

Great fight. Obviously GGG should have won and it sucks that the result was probably rigged, but to be honest I really want to see the rematch. It's going to be pretty great.

You still could have had a rematch with a GGG win tonight as it should have been.

If you don't think that was a great fight then nothing outside of a KO would have satisfied you.

The first 3 Marquez v Pacquiao fights were great fights. No KO's.

Even GGG said after the fight, he was disappointed that the fight wasn't drama filled.

Joshua Klitschko, while ending in a KO, was a great fight even without the KO. Both fighters fighting through adversity, a young fighter getting knocked down early and staying composed.

Canelo using the whole ring ala Mayweather, moving laterally, using the ropes, pot shotting, and mostly 1 and 2 punch combos. Canelo has vastly improved his defense, which may go unnoticed. GGG using his jab tactically bothered Canelo. But neither fighter was ever hurt in the fight, neither were barely marked up, no knockdowns, and Canelo on his bike for most of the fight.

They had a few flurrys, nothing really came of it. Still wondering how anyone can say that was a great fight.

Good fight, okay. But greatness it was not.

Nevada Boxing Commission has temporarily "stood down" the lady judge who scored it 118-110 for Alvarez. I guess "stood down" is boxing's version of a suspension. She is in the wrong business.

Really an incredible fight on deck tonight. Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux pits two of the greatest all time amateur boxers against one another. Having two two time Olympic gold medalists in the ring together is just nuts, even better nearly everyone will have access to this fight as its being broadcast by ESPN.

I think the size and age advantage Loma possesses may be too much to overcome. Loma also has insane footwork and ability to work angles. That said I think Rigo has superior defensive skills, one shot power, and is probably a slightly superior technical fighter. I would never count out an all time great Cuban amateur.

If you do not watch a lot of boxing this is a fight well worth your time. Televised card starts at I believe 9 EST on ESPN. US 2016 Olympic Silver medalist Shakur Stevenson and Irish Olympic gold medalist Conlan will be featured on the undercard.

I watched the GGG-Canelo II fight tonight and feel about the same way I did after the first fight. Both fighters were very active just about every second of each round. They both brought it.

Each of the first 9 rounds could've been scored either way. Canelo was a little more aggressive and landed more big shots, but GGG landed more punches overall. GGG hurt Canelo a couple of times in the latter rounds, but neither fighter ever appeared close to going down.

The announcers felt GGG won a close fight and Harold Lederman scored it 116-112 for GGG. I had it 115-113 for GGG, but the judges again seemed to have watched a different fight and gave it to Canelo in a majority decision (2 thought Canelo won and the other called it a draw). I honestly don't know how any judge could score this a Canelo win. It was a close fight, but GGG got robbed again.

They were just setting up for part III.

Part III should actually feature legitimate score cards... there's no way they could put the fix in to ensure a part IV, right?

I've just about given up on boxing. I used to box. I used to LOVE the sport. It's always been crooked on some levels, but it's become little more than WWE to me now: fake drama with predetermined results all too often.

Wilder-Fury II is less than 100 hours away. I know ACamp's watching. He's ordering PPV, so if I can figure out where he lives, I'm crashing his watch party and drinking his beer.

Anyway, predictions? I'm pulling for Wilder, but I really do see this as a toss up fight. Fury's the better boxer, but Wilder's got that right hand from hell. Should be a great fight given their respective styles.

Yeah, I saw your other post on the difficulties involved. There's no need to make it that flippin' complicated & hard.

I had to just call. That was easy, trying to do it the ‘easy way’ was impossible,... couldn’t search it, could find it, nothing,...

Looks like a busted ear drum. Wilder is toast. No way he can hang without balance.
