He turned around USC in a year by doing what he had to do. He beat ND. He is a QB's coach, experienced, works hard and knows his stuff. I like Freeman but I'd take Riley any day over him. Riley is one of the top 7 coaches in college football according to many sites. Freeman has yet to prove a thing.

He also couldn’t beat Utah in two tries and lost to Tulane in a bowl game. How many kids on the roster at Tulane or even Utah get offered scholarships at USC?
Riley is an excellent QB coach but I’d slow my roll on the rest of it. Time will tell who made the better hire last season.

Being in Texas, I have a LOT of lifelong Sooner fans, and they were all pretty happy to see him go realizing he would never field a championship caliber defense or have his teams competitive in games they didnt have a large talent advantage in.

It’s kinda weird, actually. In recent past, defensive recruiting was ahead of the offense. Both the offense and defense add/drop a few staff members, and now roles have flipped. I will always vote to have stronger offensive recruiting than defensive. You can’t win a playoff game if you don’t score points.

Insiders are starting to look at “athletic traits” for the defensive recruits. I think I remember them doing the same in recent years for the offensive recruits, when offensive recruiting was slacking.

This place is a dog kennel full of dog shit all because of a bunch of tier 6 dog shit posters. I can think of 4 posters specicfically. Absolute trash and there should be an IE tampon vending machine so that their panties don’t get saturated by the 5 month long period they’re all having together.

What does that say about you when you’re annoyed with posters that have played the game at this level?

Too many are enamored by freeman. He did ok at best last year and isn’t doing that good recruiting lately. He got Hartman, unbelievable move that sets this team up to be really good. Only the coaching staff can hold this team back.

This will be the deepest, most talented team we field over the next 3 years. I said 11-1 or better before the 2015, 2018, 2021, and now 2023 season. So far I’m 2 for 3. This will be our best oline and dline for awhile(unless they get alt back… slim to no chance)

This is a Kelly team that freeman made a couple great gets in the portal to enhance it and make it Championship caliber in my opinion.

We will not have this the next 2 years when all the Kelly recruits go pro, specifically on the lines.

I don’t like Kelly, and think freeman can be better. But it has to be this year. It’s set up for it. Don’t get to play Ohio state and Clemson often with inexperienced qbs.
