hate to add to the pessimism as of late, but do you think the ability of bennett separating himself in the boundary has to do with the lack of competition in that spot due to the fact that a tee departed? I know you want the the two best on the field and i think bennett would be regardless, but just seems like the lack of depth has really allowed him to stand out.

Let's see, of the people that passed their physicals and were cleared to play it sounds like Bennett is locking down a job. Sounds like good news to me. I was concerned CB would be a default selection like QB was last season. Regardless of the stars nobody seized the position. Not so with Bennett.

Two things.

Jalen Brown looks pretty big. Any chance they try him at safety?

When they talked to Elliot he only mentioned Slaughter, Motta, Collinsworth, and Salvi for the Safety position.

I just talked to two football players who play defense that have heard nothing about anyone possibly transferring, so everyone needs to calm down.
I have heard from multiple people over the past few weeks that Lynch is unhappy, on the field, off the field, etc. Does that mean he is transferring? I dont think so. Everyone needs to calm down. We dont know what goes on at practice, behind the scenes, and we have no control over what goes on.

He's still only 7 months or so removed from a knee injury isn't he? Maybe recovery is taking a bit longer or they are just easing him back into it? He did miss most of camp last year and all of the practices up until now.

He said Collinsworth would come in at safety if they were moving Slaugther up to the hybrid spot he excelled at last year as well as the nickel package. BK could have easily misspoke there though. Collinsworth will be the 3rd safety in the rotation.
