Nope. Remember who is number 1 now? Mr. hotshot 5:s: QB. Deon changed numbers.

Deion will graduate in May after having caught one more pass than the rest of us on this board. However, apparently he has job offers, so good for him for taking advantage of what the university offered him academically.

I think a lot of what you guys saw on tape was an "air" offense (no linemen). It's a much different game when there is a pass rush.

exactly! it's amazing what pressure not only from the defense but most importantly when it is in your hands....are you going to make the play or **** the bed??? there is no pressure right now which eases everyone and also not a 80,000 watching you live

Well they need to hurry the he!! up, I have to get my football fix.

Some guy by the name Nolan mentioned something in one of the other vids about it being closed but "You will be able to find the only access here, at UND.com!"

So I assume they are just taking a bit longer to post the video than usual. Plus with no media coverage, calls for a long day.

Really random and unlikely speculation in this next post. Usually I hate these when others do them but I was just curious what others thought.

Lets pretend for a second that Brian Kelly leads us to some wonderful years of football. Wins 1 NC and keeps us in the top 15 consistently for a good number of years. If the BK era was this successful, how would ND fans like idea of Alford being trained in the later part of it as the "head coach in waiting"? Downsides: 1)First time head coach, always scary at ND. 2)As far as I know, he has never had play calling duty (Though this is not a requirement for a head coach.) Upsides: 1)We need to keep him for the long term, because he's awesome. 2)He gets ND, is one hell of a recruiter/motivator and kids love him. 3)ND head coaches, even successful ones, don't last long. So it's unlikely he'd be waiting very long even if BK wins a national championship.
Like I said, pure silly speculation, but I thought about it and was wondering what the group opinion would be.

IMO if BK wins a NC hell be around for a long time. The administration has learned its lesson about getting rid of NC winning coaches.

I think what tombstone is implying is that BK will eventually walk away, not that ND would get rid of him in this scenario.

I wasn't so much talking about the ND administration doing away with him. I view the ND coaching job as one that you eventually have to get out of or it will kill you or drive you crazy (insert Frank Leahy comment here). It's so stressful even the most driven one's are going to burn out earlier than they would at other colleges.

EDIT: What kuehnja said.

I agree with hammer. ND is the most difficult job in college sports. We'll never have a Paterno-esqe legacy coach. The strains of the job are simply too much. Even if Kelly did win a NC, he will still have his detractors. There were a lot of people that wanted Holtz gone at the end of his tenure, as foolish as that sounds now.

It's just my opinion and I'm sure many would disagree but I think as long as we are ranked in the top 25 consistently, you keep that coach no matter what and build stability in the program.

Watching the practice videos is like a crack fix.

Some of you over analyze everything to the point it nearly drives me insane, but I can't stop reading the post.

My name is Bob and I'm an Irisholic.
