When you piss enough people off, and they want to bury you, then there is literally no stone that they won't search under to find what they need to accomplish their goal.

I've always hated them, much more than USC and part of why I'd like to play them as part of the Big 10. Lots of people have a favorite team and a for fun team. I used to like LSU a bit during the Les Miles days, now I hope they finished last (I don't hate BK but it's good optics for ND if he fails). Right now I don't really have a for fun team.

But curious if anyone here actually likes Michigan as a second team, or if it's 100% across the board that they're hated?

Also, UM must feel like nothing is going to happen to them as they're fast-tracking the contract extension. No way they do that if they think Harbaugh is guilty of anything.

They were actually my first team when I was a kid and Harbaugh was the quarterback.
It was 1984, I was a big X-Men/Wolverine fan and picked them for the name.

It only lasted one season though.
My mother's family "explained" it to my eleven year old brain that I was an Irish (half Ukie too) catholic kid from Chicago and that Michigan was no longer my team.

Why do I suspect you're actually a closet scUM fan and just putting out some feelers to see if you would get blasted for saying so?

This morning's rumor is the opposite; that they are moving forward with it.

Doesn't make sense that they would move forward with the contract with all the crap that Harbaugh has going on. Better to wait and see, but it is Michigan, so who knows.

I have a guy that works for me that is a scUM fan. He hasn't even bothered to read a thing about it just to keep from needing some Tums.

A truly just, unbiased punishment would include but not be limited to:

• Vacate their wins going back to 2020
• Fire their head coach and everyone associated implicitly in the scandal
• 4 year post season ban
• Prison time, min. 6 months for all the players who had an actionable ND scholarship offer
• Their stadium should be razed and a memorial should be built in it's place
• Their team colors changed to pink and yellow. No Stripes allowed.
• Their wives and daughters should be sold to the highest bidder

I guess if anyone wants to be truly vindictive, feel free to add to the list.

Initially I thought that looked pretty bad too, but it does look like the guy next to him gives him an unexpected nudge. Who knows.
