I majored in Business and just graduated and in August I will be starting at an outstanding company in Dallas, that has dozens of locations in the U.S.

Please don't take this as anything more than a "poke in the ribs, let me buy you a beer" thing. It's a situational opportunity moment.

"So OfficeMax has openings for cashiers?"

you know what annoys me most about the SEC? Basically every OOC game is home. Since Saban took over, since those are the seasons I researched, Bama has played 2 away OOC games, and 3 neutral sight OOC games. All three neutral sight games were in the South. I know we have discussed this in a previous thread, but it needs to be said again, I want to see how these southern teams do in the north in October and November.

SEC teams can't take their GFs over statelines. Becomes a federal issue at that point.

At least our GF's actually exist. :)

It's funny to think that we will play 4 teams as tough as or tougher than the toughest team Ohio State plays all year. I wonder if we will ever wake up and build a manageable schedule that doesn't aim to play one or multiple top teams from every single major non-SEC conference. We lucked into USC and Michigan both being down last year and our schedule was still brutal.

LOL! I do! I hope no offense was taken. It was intended more as a joke based on a previous post than a shot at anyone.

As for slow lob balls, I served one up to my wife yesterday. I was trying to compliment her and said, "Even Brad Pitt isn't as lucky as I am. The only thing Angelina has on you is she's a better actress."

"How do you know?"

"I guess I don't, but I've never seen you act."

"Oh yes you have." Ouch

Is that the lovely Layla? If so, Kiffin so doesn't deserve her. As for the beer, you're on!

Well, a dab or two of iodine and a band-aid should help with the "owie."

As to being married to an obviously sharp and feisty woman --- more power to ya. Enjoy the ride!!!

There is being an offensive dick, and there is being a jokster. Most of us around here are pretty level headed in that regard when it comes to opposing fan bases.

I posted this in the D'Shawn Hand thread in reference to UM's schedule. Probably better suited here:

This is unfortunate. The Big Blue hype machine will be in full force all season. Recruits are going to continue to flock to this program. I hate it.

The same can be said with OSU. They'll probably go undefeated again. Does anyone honestly think OSU gets a title shot w/ this non-conference schedule? 2013 Ohio State Buckeyes Football Schedule

God, I hate the B1G.

I only partially agree with this. I do hate the fact that other teams player easier schedules and ND consistently books games with top tier programs. However, there's a legit argument that ND has to do this until they join a conference (if they ever do). With the system slowly converting to a playoff format, it's going to be harder for teams like ND, who have no affiliation to leap frog a conference champ w/o having the SOS to back it up (regardless of what the other team's SOS is). It sucks. I hate it. But it's the reality.

You can throw the argument out there that a committee would select a 11-1 or even possibly a 10-2 ND team over others because of the ratings/money draw. But I'm not sure how long that argument will hold up in the playoff system.

With that said, I really do enjoy the constant marquee matchups that ND faces each week. Unfortunately, it gives me an ulcer because I know the entire season is riding on getting the W so they can get to the BCS.

Edit: My post above was hating on OSU as well. Any team in the B1G, with the kind of schedules UM and OSU are putting out there, shouldn't warrant a BCS level game of any kind. It's a complete joke. I swear if a 12-0 OSU beats out a 10-2 or 11-1 SEC team or ND team for a BCS berth, I will be livid!

So I made the point about Florida leaving the south earlier in this thread... I went ahead and did the research tonight...

You have to go back to the 1995 Feista Bowl and the Game where Tommy Frazier was breaking 52 tackles in one play to find the most recent case of Florida leaving the south for anything...

For a scheduled game???... You have to go back to 1983 and a trip to LA to play the Trojans... Nineteen eighty freakin three...wow... They have played some difficult schedules during that time, and play another one this season but seriously... Not one game out of your region in thirty years?!?!

Seriously?!?! Not doubting your info, this just seems nearly impossible, but I guess most bowls are in the South so if they dont schedule elsewhere could happen. Also that run by Tommy Frazier was a great play, but as you pointed out possibly worst example of fundamental tackling in history of football. He literally disappeared in the midst of like 4 Florida players then just somehow emerged and scampered for a TD. Tommy Frazier and Lawrence Phillips (what a waste of talent) just destroyed Florida.

Just looked back at some stats from the game...Nebraska had 524 rushing yards! As a team had 629 total yards, Lawrence Phillips rushed for 165 yds and 2 TDs, and Tommy Frazier had 199 yds on 16 carries including the 75 yd run in which he broke an estimated 8 tackles, just insane. Florida on the other hand had -28 rushing yards. I guess the beat down Bama put on us was mild in comparison.
