I like a good mix of starting times.
Home games are mostly a lost day since I attend most.

For away game I like an early or late start so I can get shit done.

If we win this one and it turns out the same as the last 3? Will you crybabies start watching other games and see we are about the same.... Alabama without an SEC officiating crew and an Ole Miss team that plays until the end of the game.. Completely different BS!

Officiating and not being a full participant in Conference play helps nobody from the ACC! Why would we get any help?

Fans don't have enough time to get their load on.

Can't drink all day unless you start in the morning.

LSU fans have their first puke by 8 am.

Isn't that a good thing when you are the road team... less fan drunktimism

When ND played in Baton Rouge in '97 there was a 5 pm TV kickoff. LSU fans were pissed as they would not have time to get their second drunk on.

ND ran them out of the stadium literally. Most of the crowd left by halftime. By the 4th Q, ND fans outnumbered the LSU fans which were mostly the LSU band. In the second half the small contingent of Irish fans drown out the home crowd in "Death Valley". It became Silent Valley.

Five minutes after the game ended LSU turned out the stadium lights while the ND team and fans were singing the alma mater. No class.

Best ND game I've attended.

97 was a weird ass year. Bad start, good finish (reg season)... I remember that game well. It was the month I moved from Indy to ATL... IIRC, after we beat LSU that game, we played them again in LA in a bowl and got punked.

This will be the best chance for the offense to get into sync.

To put it bluntly, Wake's defense is flat out horrible.

If ND is struggling to get points against them, then we've got real problems.

Wake's offense has been pretty good, but I think their rankings are more a product of the teams they've played. So far, BC looks like the best defense they've played so far, and I'm skeptical that they're anything better than mediocre.

ND needs to stop farting around offensively and put this game away early like they should.

Not good, but not horrible against the run... horrible against the pass, which we are not good at. Maybe BW has a good game...

I'm not convinced.

BC ran over them all game. Dillon had nearly 200 yards rushing on them. They actually ran better against Wake, than they did against UMass.

Vandy's defense is pretty good, particularly against the run, and ND ran it well against them. If Wimbush can continue to improve and the playcalling doesn't take a sh*t after the first drive, ND should run away with this easily.

If you are watching other college football games and thinking Notre Dame is "about the same" as the other teams in the top 10, you're doing this wrong.

Have to agree with ChiDomer on this.

Ive tried to rationalize NDs lack of second half killer instinct in an attempt to develop 2nd string players or maybe BK just not wanting to run up the score. Wishful thinking maybe. ND clearly controls the 1st half of all three games and then lets way off off the gas and it turns into a close game. I can understand a let down game here or there but all three?

I dont know what it is. But I know this will not work against Stanford nor VT. USC could be way more improved come that point in the year. Lord knows that they have the athletes to do it.

I agree that we are not on the same tier as the top 6 but there's nothing that the other teams have done that makes me think we couldn't beat them. Again, we have only played three games. Let's see if we can continue to improve our play on the field.

This is pretty misleading IMO. 31st in PPG, and that is against a lot higher quality of competition than a lot of teams can say through 3 games IMO. Stats are relative; you can chew them up and spit them out however you want to, but ND's defense passes the eye test so far this year.

Wake Forest is still sending out emails that tickets are available. That's crazy since it's a 31,500 seat stadium.

5. Oklahoma (beat 1-2 Iowa State 37-27; Their other 2 wins are against Florida Atlantic and 0-3 UCLA who got absolutely curbstomped by Fresno State at home.)

7. Stanford (struggled with San Diego State for most of the game; Beat a really bad USC by 14, who just go embarrassed by a bad Texas squad; then beat UC Davis by 20.)

9 and 10 have a loss, and Washington didn't exactly blow Utah out of the water, and this isn't a good Utah team either.

ND hasn't looked overly impressive, but other than Auburn, ND has the best win of those 4 teams and is undefeated unlike UW and Auburn.

I think Alabama is the clear top team, Georgia and Clemson are the next tier and Ohio State is behind them. Not convinced OU is that good, because the teams they've beaten are just awful.

Cheaper better seats available on stubhub/tickpick - mostly instant download too. I'm waiting a few days expecting prices to drop further.
