Freeman just said the Dline did NOT play with the velocity or violence he saw in fall camp.

To admit that, man. Something is going on. These are huge games where players aren't giving what the coaches believe are 100% for whatever reason (too complicated?). It doesn't look like anything is very complicated to slow the dline down especially.

This game has that sleepy Notre Dame afternoon game written all over it. Purdue isn't god, but they're improved and motivated.

It's giving me the feeling of that 2022 Cal game. We were 0-2 and just lost to Marshall. Cal stunk and we were down 17-14 going into the 4th (won 24-17). Most boring green jersey game in my lifetime.

People posting betting slips betting against ND on this site is douche bag behavior. You aren’t a real fan if your pulling that shit
lol. I don't bet real money but I bet against us in the sport book category more times than not. 🤣

Moore is questionable same with Smith doubt both play take the points
Probably see Stroman & Johnson at the safeties & Schmidt or the KO specialist kicking XP/FG. Gonna be a bad sign, if both kickers end up kicking b/c that means one of them shit the bed.

Notre Dame isn’t losing to Purdue, give me a six month ban if it happens. That’s my bet if anyone wants to take it
You’re probably correct but I’m tempted to look at this Saturday as a “breather” to get ND back to neutral but every time I have that mindset against a lesser opponent, the game goes down to the end.

Nice little payout
If we can’t win, cash can numb the pain. It hasn’t gotten rid of the pain despite the money I’ve won these last two games. But if I can’t see my team win the beer & t-shirt money I won to take with me to the nascar race last week & the signed Ryan Blaney & Jimmie Johnson diecasts I bought with my winnings this week are something good to come out of this. Fuck if we gotta lose to Purdue I’ll have enough cash to take care of Christmas this year & still keep some around to bet on our opponents all year. Either I’m gonna have a lot of money or we are gonna turn shit around.

I think we are going to murder them, as we should. This isn’t anywhere near an even talent match up like our first two games. Our offense isn’t going to stall like it did against NIU, it’s too balanced with CJ. And on defense, they don’t have any playmakers that should scare you.

I will say this about Purdue because my buddy has made me watch snippets of their games and I was at the BSU v Purdue game. Their quarterback looks the part. I told my friend to enjoy him this year because I would bet money that a bigger team offers him a great NIL when the transfer window opens up. He's big, decently athletic and has the arm talent.

Add that Barry Odom is a solid coach unlike Walters.

Either way, I think we should do fine here. Hope for a bounce back and right the ship.

I can’t downvote this enough, what a little bitch attitude to have being a “fan” of ND

I’m going to assume there was alcohol involved when you posted this.

Remember last year? Everyone was worried about Purdue then as well. We know what happened.
True. The difference is, last year people were rightly concerned that ND couldn't beat Northen Illinois at home (or beat them in the trenches) and Riley Leonard couldn't throw a forward pass, while this year people are freaking out because ND played the #4 and #10 teams evenly.

Incredible what a change a year can make. Last year we were worried that the offense was trash and we were counting on the defense to keep us in games until Leonard could get the rust off and find our groove. Now our offense is looking really good against Elko style defenses with a redshirt freshman at QB while our defense is trash.

It is more to do with how bad the defense is and how ND is inclined to play down to the opponent. The season has 2016 vibes.

I watched a little of their game against USC. Agree, he looks like a decent QB.
