If we won they would be top 20 maybeEveryone so emotional over losing a game by 3 points on the road at a top 10 team.
Yeah but I’m emotional every game so maybe it’s just a me problem?!?Everyone so emotional over losing a game by 3 points on the road at a top 10 team.
Because it was a winnable game against a rival that we lostEveryone so emotional over losing a game by 3 points on the road at a top 10 team.
Because it won’t get a hell of a lot easier & honestly I saw more bad than good from that loss. I’ve been posting here since 2009 & we have had more close losses to good teams than wins in my time here. Very rarely have any of those close losses to good teams have resulted in a turn around, it’s usually led to a lot of mediocrity. This whole game felt like the typical Notre Dame let down where we might win some games against weak opponents, might win some games against some good opponents, but it’s once again shitting the bed on the big stage against a great team in prime time.Everyone so emotional over losing a game by 3 points on the road at a top 10 team.
At least under MF, I don't think that's been true. I think it's been close to even or better.Because it won’t get a hell of a lot easier & honestly I saw more bad than good from that loss. This is 2022-2023 OSU. This is 2017-2019 UGA. This was like all of 00’s USC loses. I don’t know if we are gonna achieve the ultimate goal this year which is a major let down after being so close last year.
Lmao. Yes that is how rankings work 😂If we won they would be top 20 maybe
We'll see how good Miami is. In 2016 Texas was declared "back" right after beating ND.Everyone so emotional over losing a game by 3 points on the road at a top 10 team.
Thank the schedulers. Michigan won a championship and didn't play anyone decent until October iirc.A must win game on September 13. Thanks Marcus
They would actually have to touch the ball to have a big gameThe Irish will be fine against A&M. That Aggie run defense looked pretty pedestrian against an inferior opponent. Love and Price should have big games and that gives CJ plenty of room to make plays in the passing game. Irish rush for 200+ and win by double digits.
I could not believe how much bigger Miami's OL looked than our DL and looks like that won't be changing anytime soon.
The state of our interior DL is going to hold this team back.

Honestly, I think it’s a natural reaction to all the high expectations fans were having. Some of it was self-inflicted kool aid drinking. Then you add up all the ND beat writers assuring us how great the OL/DE/WR/CB are that it’s pretty fair to say most of the fanbase were expecting a comfortable win or even blowout. Go back and read the Miami thread or X and you’ll see it. I challenge the beat guys to let us know what they got right & what they got wrong in their pre-game analysis b/c that’s got to be a lopsided comparison.Everyone so emotional over losing a game by 3 points on the road at a top 10 team.
And despite that schedule, they still had to cheat to do it.Thank the schedulers. Michigan won a championship and didn't play anyone decent until October iirc.
Well, as you can imagine no one is happy about last night. I would expect ND will open up the playbook and get a bit more aggressive after seeing the qb isn’t going to be a detriment.Friendly Ag here. Not here to troll, but talk honest ball. How are y’all feeling?
Bases on last night I would be surprised if ND gets more than 150 yards on the groundFYI - UTSA’s RBs ran for 215 yards and 6.9ypc on A&M. A&M also only recorded 1 sack. They did lose a ton to the NFL, not totally unexpected for them to take a step back.

Yeah, we don't seem to want to do that. Maybe the play book will change for A&MYou gotta give it to the running backs consistently to get those kind of yards.
I think there will be a ton of A&M fans, maybe not full on UGA invasion thoIs this going to be a big home crowd advantage to ND or one of those invasion games?
