My post is no indication I think ND is going to lose or even be close. I just think Rice will probably move the ball better than we expect at least for the first few drives. Spread option gimmicky offense on a short week. ND might cover the 44.5 but I'd bet Rice is frisky for a quarter.

Don't play games and rub Rice's face in the dirt from bell to bell and we'll all breathe a little easier. Another "slow start" with halftime adjustments is not confidence inducing. A slow start against BYU or Miami is much harder to overcome.

No reason Shuler needs to be taking 60 snaps against Rice and same with Bowen. Get Joey Obrien and Long 12-15 snaps each. Also zero reason why a guy as talented as Farimo got zero snaps. Dude is too good to be sitting the bench. I get it we are deep at LB.

“Always Irish” host John Kennedy is hosting a tailgate where booze/food is pre funded by patrons. Pretty much walk in and say go Irish and you’ll be treated like family.

Rice played two QBs against Houston Christian and both went 2-5 passing. Jacurri Brown is a former four star recruit. He ran 13 times for 98 yards.

Their pass defense was horrible last year. 7 of their 21 transfers were DBs.

Jacurri Brown is playing for Rice? He was one of the 37 QB's for UCF last year. I don't think he's capable of completing a forward pass. This could get very rough for Rice.
