Looking forward to seeing what kind of D cord BVG is, and if BKelly is actually gonna run wr/rb screens. I wouldnt be mad at some slants and crossing routes aswell.

Need Farley and Tranquill to have big games. I know Michigan might try and pound the ball early, but I don't see them being successful, and you know they're going to spread it out for Gardner. Farley has to be solid in coverage and with wrapping up, and I think Drue is going to be doing a lot of blitzing/spying on 3rd downs.

I feel pretty good about Redfield/Shumate. After a week of stressing communication, they have no excuse for any breakdown back there. In theory, the coaches/Scout Team O should have thrown literally every single formation and route combo at the secondary, and they shouldn't be confused by anything they see out of Michigan.

That's what a stroke will do to you...

Why they have to put that tearjerker shit on?! Making me care about some kid I don't know and show some human qualities while I'm trying to hate on ScUM.

He had a stroke. He still has the balls to put himself out there every Saturday. Gotta give him credit for that.

I'd rather have it that way. Maybe it's because that's what I'm use to having only been to road games. ND is uNDefeated in games I attend, 5-0. Btw I'll be at ASU and fU$C

I wish we would just stomp then into the ground but I know that's not going to happen. All I know it's this game is going to be close.

I take solace in the fact that we have Everett and his incredible ability to extend plays. But will that alone carry us to a victory? No.

The win lies in the hands of the red zone defense. It lies in the hands of Sheldon and his backfield presence, in Jaylon's sideline to sideline speed.. This win is ours if the communication is clear and the responsibilities are understood.

Golson will get us our points, especially if the OL gives GB, TF, CmcD any room to run.

This win will come down to 1or 2 defensive plays. Who will step up?

And Fuck Michigan

I know it's always overstated but we need to protect the football...no turnovers! Also, no stupid penalties. Also, third down conversions...we need alot of them. Also, Red-Zone offense...need 7 not 3. Also, a repeat of last week with Special teams. Also...

Every week Gameday puts on a tearjerker story, just so happens this week came from the same team we are playing tonight.

True, one of my uncles just had one and they are no joke. Extremely difficult to come back living a normal life doing what you love to do after a stroke.

Saw a rumor on the 247 board that ND will run out of the tunnel with smoke or fireworks. Anyone know or saw this rumor? Thx

Wildman, a chara,

I am going to rep your post, not for its content, but for your incredible video work. I already repped ITP, but this is the first post of yours I have seen since I watched PTHF; that is two outa the park in the row for you!

Now. For your post. We have a different defensive scheme. One that was shaped and constructed first in the SEC. Then polished in the NFL. In the spring game did you see BVG and Everett playing back and forth? As I am clear BVG has helped Everett become the electric sensation he is becoming, I am sure BVG has a sheet out of Dougie's playbook.

Like Bob Diaco with the fabulous defensive talent of the '12 ND defense, "Nuss," as they call him while they still love him, had unbelievable offensive talent at Alabama. The line talent was second to none most of the time, only in the last year or so has ND surpassed Alabama in recruiting talent on the offensive line. Let alone the skilled position talent!

That is enough to make any OC, a "genius!" Now Nuss unfortunately inherits the UofM offensive team. As far as the line goes, the two NFL talents from last year are gone and need to be replaced by first year starters. It doesn't matter whether Hoke's coy comments are true, or not. I kind of hope he moves the guys on a horrible line into new positions, so that they can become more confused and have greater breakdowns than ever. I think that would be fun. Kind of like having a piñata party!

Speaking of piñata's Devin Gardner just announced that for the first time, under Nuss, he learned to read defenses! Think about it! Maybe that is why last years giveaway blitzes, blitzes that we tipped off all night, and still followed through with, leaving our defense exposed as hell, was like providing a cheat sheet for a failing student. If you put the answers up on the board, anyone that can read can pass the test with flying colors!

Don't look now, but the Michigan team is not just weak up the middle on defense. Ryan isn't the linebacker he was, another one is in a cast, maybe their best, and they are celebrating their third or fourth team nose guard as the man because he was stout against an undersized and ineffective AppState offensive line! I was only half kidding when I said it would be cool for ND to come out with MZ at quarterback, Luatua at fullback, and two of our three running backs at halfback. Man that would eff with Mattison's head! But I see ND as being able to exploit Michigan's defensive middle. If they can. It is going to be a long, scum night!

And finally, this isn't a Weis, Willing, davie team anymore. There is a whole different attitude and mentality this year. Like light and day from last year. Expect them to force Michigan to their will, instead of the other way around. Finally. And sincerely. Téigh Gaeilge!

Beir bua agus beannacht,

Bogs

Koon was mentioning something to this extent yesterday. He was at the stadium and saw them setting up some type of pyro system in the tunnel
