I don't know...I can't be pissed at Kelly...he put up 47...you should win 100% of your games if you put up 47. Second guessing MZ vs DK seems trivial.

I am a little disappointed in the run game...wasn't there when it was needed, and ND was too scared to throw it late. Run game will NOT dominate good teams if something doesn't change there. Team went into a cocoon, watched them tighten right up...and let it get away.

The defensive line had their moments, but overall tackling wasn't great. The Dbacks are embarrassingly bad in coverage and run support...missed too many tackles where they had hands on the guy...thats a heart thing.

ND was lucky to get to overtime, as hey had Texas 4th and the north 40, and luke can't close on a ball thrown across the field...if the Texas kid doesn't step out, this game never would have gone to OT.

ND does not have the corner talent to be aggressive, so they'll have to hope teams make mistakes like Texas did to keep them in the game.

I don't think NC state will be a trap game anymore because ND just had it. Groundhog Day Today...Making a Freshman QB a one day AA...check. Terrible tackling...check. Doing just enough to lose with dignity...check.

Early on, yes. After half, it was inexcusable. It was clear by then Kizer was the man. We go down 14, and bring out Zaire. That's completely unacceptable at this level halfway thru a game you know you need to score on almost every possession.

As many questions marks ND had on offense, replacing Fuller, Brown, Procise, Robinson, Jones, I think they showed tonight they can score on anyone. There are a lot of weapons still in the arsenal.

The defense on the other hand, I have no clue. There wasn't a "bright" spot I can point to. Everything just looked off. Hope they figure out another scheme or different personnel.

I have said from the beginning that there should not have been a 2 QB system and that Kizer should be the starter. I didn't decide this during the game or after the game. I believed that Kizer should be he starter all the way back in November 2015.

But thank you so much for incorrectly calling me out and cursing at me.

It really is a shame that we have a great QB but our defense is so bad that it didnt matter. I expected our defense to be shaky but it was surprising how bad they were. The secondary is shockingly bad and I dont even think it can primarily be blamed on Sebastian, the CBs were the real liability. Despite really bad play we had a chance to steal a game but could not come through in the clutch. Really a poorly coached and played game. I think we can still finish with a respectable record against this schedule but this is a major setback.

Does anyone else feel the returned block kick actually hurt us? Had we not scored on it and just blocked it, we would have been down 2. We would have been more aggressive in the play calling instead of settling to play for a tie and OT. Could have won the game with a FG or TD instead.
