I use that word, solely because I know it's not a word. I use it alot.
Always makes me think of this:
Hyperbole and a Half: The Alot is Better Than You at Everything

Actually, Koyack had a nice block on the TD that McDaniel took in. Did a good job of kicking the linebacker out. Niklas absolutely destroyed a couple guys on that same play. Needs consistency.

ND should just do as Stanford do and bring in a 6th OL to Block with Troy in the TE2 spot. Somebody gotta find out what the deal with Welch is though, hes on Field Goal but MIA on Offense.
I most likely will NOT be able to post press conference highlights
Yeah, I was just curious from a ND fan's perspective, where it ranked on your list. Mainly was trying to gauge your guys' thoughts to see how amped up the atmosphere will be. Great stadiums are always good - but it's better for certain teams/games. I was curious if this is one of the bigger (biggest?) home game of the year for ya'll or was just a so-so whatever game.
I get all the coach speak - one game at a time, yadda yadda - but I'm not sure you can not look forward to certain games over others as a fan.
I think we use the same gameplan as we had against MSU personally. We are going to push it vertically all game long and hope it forces them into some man coverage and out of the box to run the ball.

As we all know he didn't hit many last week but he was consistently overthrowing (when have you ever said that about him). It wasn't sporadic misses. Another week of timing work and I believe he will drop a few in.
Does that equate to more points? Not sure, but I think it at least will help us flip field position and keep the ball away from their offense.
I can see this one going either way personally.
I agree. While I would like to see some new wrinkles, we've seen the same offense for three weeks. The only real change I noticed was the jet sweep motion was put back in against MSU and it had a positive outcome.
How do OK's DBs compare to MSU's? Are they capable of playing us as physical as MSU? You know they will be physical with DD since he was largely shut down. Better a 15 yard penalty than a 40 yard pass, right?
I think the physicality threw us off our timing and I think other teams will try the same thing, gambling that refs won't throw that many flags (even when the fouls are there).
Bogs made a good point elsewhere about Tommy pretty much NEVER taking the underneath routes, even when more open than the long throws. I like to think BK and Co. understand the 3 & out frequency needs to be high on the list of things to fix.
Well I think you know more about football than you are leading on...TE's are nearly impossible to cover. LB's can't keep up with them, DB's aren't physical enough, and TE's can usually catch the ball with you doing chin-ups on their arms. This should all happen in the middle third of the field. Not sure why we aren't looking there. But I agree...we need that second TE to emerge.
I've been under the impression all these years that you don't pass on a team to force the man coverage, teams switch to Cover 3 or something if that's the case.
Michigan State was loading the box and offering the man coverage up as part of their game plan.
I doubt that Oklahoma has the defensive ability that Michigan State had. I think it'll come down to third down execution for both sides.
Apparently they're trying to have a green-out in the stadium. No way it works haha. Would be cool to see though. If they can't do it in the JACC for a basketball game where they hand out free shirts to everyone, no way it'll work in the stadium.
