That's my point. If we can't beat Duke then we have a lot more to worry about than "more athletes, less nerds."

I'm sorry you didn't get into Notre Dame but academic standards aren't the problem. We have plenty of dummies on that field.

Lmao this has nothing to do with me bro, think you need to take it down a notch. Heat in ya moms basement getting to you? Clearly we have players on this defense that have low football IQs, hence why I said with instincts. Being a "dummy" doesn't matter in the context of football. It's about football IQ and instincts, which our defense is currently lacking

Sounds like the captains and leaders on this team need to step up because the coaches obviously have lost it

I can't imagine Duke scoring 50+, beating us and BVG keeping his job. Serious question....Is that possible? Can he survive another week?

Enough even talking about Van Gorder. This is a BK problem first and foremost.

I wouldn't go that far unless he continues to not take action. He needs to pass the reins to one of the other coaches, like Bob Elliot. Put BVG in the box and fire him at year end.

What is it with your fan boner for Elliot? What has he done?

I have to agree. He has lost this team and maybe even the program.

I hate when players give up, but it's hard for me to blame people like Luke for giving up on BVG's shhitt show.

constant 3 in the box, sometimes 4 against a small O-line should produce results. Obvious in the first quarter. Bring in 5 in the box then cut back to 3 in the box and fall back to zone which still has no results... the D-Line is lacking

He insulted the university's students and alumni. That's not okay.

If you are actually offended by anything he said, take a lap. All he said is we need more instinctual players which I can't disagree when watching this dumpster fire defense.

Is elliot even in health for the job?

I was under the impression he wanted a smaller role...

I'm not saying he take over long term. Just reel this shit back in and run the show until season end. Then we fire BVG and bring in someone new.

It's good, this defense and coaching staff is driving everyone insane. No point in even trying to to use logic right now

I believe he is an analyst right now so he is not an official part of the staff. I don't think he is even allowed on the field or in the box but I could be wrong.

Fire everyone.

FWIW, there's a ton of lines in that Elliott thing that are just facts and not really accomplishments or accolades.
