David Haugh... yes, David Haugh, just wrote a glowing article in the Chicago Tribune.

If even he can bring himself to have something nice to say about ND... well, any debby downers out there who can't can officially kiss my ***. Looking at you, Mark May & Co.

Hey, it is progress with Haugh if by the end of the column you actually know what his opinion is/was. He is the Trib's resident BogTrotter.

I asked my roommate (um fan) if he's worried about Purdue and he said "not at all".

I will be routing HARD for Purdue in this one. I think they have a chance.

So am I.

Michigan could end up with a 6-6 season if they lose to Purdue. After that, they still have to play Sparty, Nebraska, and Ohio State.

Do you think they will beat um? The only line I could find has Purdue +5. I can't wait for Michigan to tank and their commits start looking around. My roommatte follows recruiting very closely and he brags about um all of the time.

I think they're certainly capable. Michigan is soft up front and I don't think they'll be able to get the running game going. They haven't been able to all year. If Purdue can take care of the football and field a couple of arm punts, I think they take this game.

Don't tell that to our running game.

Currently 3 point favorites over Purdue. Really hope Purdue can force some turnovers and continue the fall of Michigan.

21-0 nothing. Purdue looks absolutely terrible. I haven't seen a worse team than the one they fielded today.

Russell Bellomy's statline tonight: 3/16, 38 yards, 3 INT

This kid could be Michigan's starting QB next year.

Will be real interesting to see how patient they are with Hoke. Tough break having to be the guy to replace the coach that set the program back 10 years. Spread players with a pro style philosophy. 3rd place Big 10 team for awhile.

He has to completely rebuild the program. They will be patient. They aren't stupid. Hoke and Mattison are legitimate.

Denard get knocked out? Or did Bellomy get inserted because Denard wasn't performing? I missed the game.

It's funny, at the Michigan game this year my uncle and I noticed how much Bellomy looked like my cousin:

Michigan's offense is going to be absolutely horrible next year with a green OL, no proven running backs, and a possible true freshman starter at QB.

Wolverines will be pinning their hopes on a 50% passer in high school.

So Shane Morris?

Sorry, I already dislike the kid... a lot.

If Robinson's elbow keeps him out for the season UM should go in the crapper. They have MINN next week in Minneapolis followed by NW and Iowa on the road and OSU at home. They would have been 6 to 12 pt favorites over the next 3 and a dog to OSU. After they week odds will close substantially.

Meanwhile in the Winningest Percentage battle ND has picked up 3 games so far this season and can reclaim the #1 position without running the table.

Things are looking Rosy - for ND. There may not be a bowl available for UM unless they beat one of the remaining four opponents. With Robinson that could be tough.

I care about this more than I should. Can't wait until we retake our rightful place as the winningest program in CFB. How many more ND wins/ UM losses do we need?

I think 2.something to 3. I couldn't find my old spreadsheet so made a new one tonight and we can overtake them without wining out. Unfortunately I had a couple of spreadsheets open and one locked up, locking up the others. I have to shut down and reboot and I'm not going to do that tonight. I'll get it tomorrow.

If Robinson returns healthy and effective I only see an OSU as a loss for them. One of the others might upset them but not 3 losses. With a mediocre record they'd probably draw a winnable bowl game. Even if they drew a LSU, UF, or UGA we'd still draw a tougher opponent.

...and THATS why I detest Michigan with ever fiber in my soul, only second to USC by a slim margin. Seriously, like the Buckeyes or not, but they found a way to beat Miami in 2002 and played tough defense to get to that game. Winning is all that matters, and this team is winning. **** the Wolverines. Saying that this Irish team isn't that good...after you guys had to pull last minute wins out of your arse the previous 3 years and went to a BCS game last year. Pot calling the kettle black, it's just our turn to be in the driver seat.

Love seeing scUM fans cry. Also love seeing a couple of their posters call everyone else out for acting 'little brotherish'
