Missouri covered the spread. Arizona st was favored by 7.5 so you pick the winner based on the spread. Arizona State won the game but Mizzou beat the spread. Thats how it works.

It never took the spread into account before...I thought. Bong resin may be blocking some synapses but I thought the spread never mattered when we picked last year. So, yea, I saw that but ignored it. Thanks for the clarification though.

I set it up that way so it would make it more difficult that JUST picking a winner. More challenging as well.

Touche, but for those of us who partake, we don't realize it until Week 2. I went all through Week 1 and up until Saturday morning of Week 2 without noticing. Jeez. In any event, thanks for ironing that out for me. Now I can pick armed with all the pertinent info. Haha.

I picked Iowa, but I'm having a very hard time not rooting for Iowa State. They seem like the red-headed stepchild of this rivalry, and I'd love to see them take the hawkeyes down.

This may be foolish, but if I have no real ties to either team in a given game, I usually base my interests on (from most to least): (a) effect on my team, (b) gambling/fantasy impact of the game, (c) who is more/less "likeable" (aka who is the underdog, usually), and (d) which uniforms/colors are better. I know (d) is a dumb thing to base anything on, but I can't help it. In this case, ISU reminds me of USC, which is bad. But, Iowa reminds me of the Steelers, which is worse than any other possible thing I can imagine. Therefore, since (a) and (b) don't apply and both (c) and (d) heavily favor Iowa state, I'm pulling for them.

Wow....45 minutes still until PSU and Bama, and almost SIX hours until ND/Skunkbears.

Some tough picks this week! A lot of huge spreads and some really interesting match ups. Oregon St. and UCLA will be tough to pick. I don't know about a few other games as well.

Our offense isn't even close to the tempo it ran at last year in comparison to a team that is two years removed from Kelly being their coach at Cincy-tucky... Not sure I really understand the comparison there.

I'm saying that our offense is supposed to look like with a mobile QB who is accurate which Cincy has in Collaros and we Should eventually have in Golson.

Zach Callaros isn't exactly setting world land speed records the last time I checked by the way. Looks pretty similar to Tommy to me.

Yes they run a very similar offense to what BK had when he was their. they go spread with tons of draws and options and also go hurry up. NC St was tired by the 2nd quarter
