I don't think we'll drop, having beat a great team as a home dog. But we didn't just beat them. We defensively dominated the best rushing attack in the nation. Going off resume alone, we should be #1. But we won't move up much after giving up those garbage TDs.

An AP voter who sees ND beat GT 30-7 is going to give us a much bigger bump than an AP voter who reads that we eeked out a one possession victory as a home dog.

I'm still happy. Play off hopes legitimately restored. But those garbage time touch downs took a lot of shine off an otherwise amazing victory.

Agree. The first garbage TD is fine. But the debacle on the onside kick and giving up the second touch down is inexcusable. 30-15 would look great to voters also.

We dominated the 14th ranked team and stuffed the best rushing offense in the country. Anyone want to have a conversation about how bad BVG is tonight? I would have liked to see a little more effort that last minute, but the defense looked great for 59 minutes.

Checked out a GT board to see what they're thinking. You would've thought they were coming off back-to-back championships. They are a very confident fan base, to say the least.

I'm thoroughly bummed we banned and deleted the GT troll.

Against FSU in Tallahassee in '02 we were killing them thanks to turnovers but late in the game they turned 2 onside kicks into TDs but it didn't end up as close as this one. I agree the voter that scans scores or has his student manager fill out his card will skewer us.

It's time to admit that their 5 star athletes are better than our 3 star athletes. The defense has played well. Justin has played poorly and it has shown. BVG has won this match up.

Lol. We just got boat raced by the fish eaters.

We got 100% confirmation on one thing today... we're not good enough to win the Playoff this year. So if the team can get over that, there is plenty left to play for. Hell, we were lucky to have beaten Georgia Southern last year and still had the best season in my almost 20 years as a GT fan. Need to focus on winning one game at a time.

Did anyone really think we were before today?
