Just watched the condensed 1st half. What I came away with is, we're not even scratching the surface yet. We didn't execute on the horizontal passes to get our RBs in space. We dropped some passes, and Everrett was off on some (still a beast though). MSU was lucky on some of its completions and Maxwell looks like a good QB. That "drop" in the endzone was perfectly defended by Russell and I think he may even have touched the ball with his hand swipe... Kelly wasn't kidding when he said we can only get better. They only scored on a 50 yard FG. Holy shnickes. Imagine the Clausen Tate Floyd Rudolf offense with our RBs and line plus the D.

Also, Neal is gonna take a punt to the house this season Holy Sh** is he electric.

call me old fashioned, but i prefer to imagine the Quinn/Samardzija/Stovall/Fasano offense...

He is pretty amazing. Really impressed with his play, I do not see scUM beating Sparty, especially after we knock that horseshoe out of their a$$ this week.

LOL we didn't beat them? The farthest they got in the second half was our 48 for 1 play.... they never once got into the red zone all day... and the final score was 20-3. The final score last year was 31-13. That's two straight 3 score victories.
