That's a "meteor" game, but given how absolutely obnoxious and oblivious scUM's fans have been to the cheating scandal I kind of hope USC crushes them.

I hate USC in a "I won't pick them up if they're stranded on the side of the road" sort of way.

I hate Michigan in a "I need to turn around for another pass because they managed to dodge my car the first time" sort of way.

Now do Miami

One of my all time favorite rivalry games. I can’t precisely tell you why, especially give that we are not equals, but I’ve always enjoyed this game. Had plenty of friends that went there and I always like stopping by Harry’s Chocolate Shop.

With four kids that have degrees from Purdue, I'm a closet Boiler fan and root for them except when they play the Irish. I know I raised them right, because they still root for the Irish when they play Purdue. lol
I'm on my way to having one...but will always root for Indiana schools, except when they play the Irish

I hate Miami in a "I need to give the guy at the detail shop an extra c-note to make sure he gets all the brain matter cleaned off my car's undercarriage after seeing them on the side of the road" kind of way.

A fellow 80’s survivor I see. Great job.

It's crazy that Miami has looked like old school Miami for exactly one game in the last 20 years. And it just so happened to be when ND came to town in 2017...

Cleveland.com reporting they were picked dead last out of 18 teams in the preseason Big ten picks.

Hopefully good thing we got them early

There are hardly any marquee games this weekend.
Plenty of eye balls will be on this game, and to see how this team bounces back or to continue to laugh at thier downfall.

Purdue is Purdue, but it would still be a Big Ten opponent on the road. In state rivalry. Crowd will be hostile.
If the boys can go out there and play a great game and win by 21+ we have a (small) chance to reverse the narrative a little bit.

I would of course be more optimistic if Steve were announced the starter, and the offense got a spark.
Possible chance of showers all day with a little bit of wind.
If Riley couldn't throw in perfect conditions vs NIU in South Bend. I have little hope that this passing attack gets going in less then ideal conditions.

Yay, football!

I haven’t been this unexcited for an ND game since 2007. They are going to again trot out a qb who just cannot throw vertically. Expect the box to be absolutely loaded by the Purdue defense on Saturday. I expect another ugly game that we probably win

I've got tickets to the game. I'm not as excited now as I was Saturday morning. lol

At least Prister can’t badmouth the opposing QB like he did to Jack Plummer & Ethan Hampton before they sprung the embarrassing upset.

Wonder what O/U will be after Saturday’s game on ND fans asking why ND didn’t acquire Hudson Card in the portal instead of Hartman/Leonard?

Dudes that live in northern Indiana will get this, but if Notre Dame had to lose a game and you asked me if I’d rather they lose to NIU or Purdue, I’m picking NIU every time. Purdue fans and their “Little Brother” syndrome are absolutely insufferable.

I hear you.
The Sunday after the A&M victory. A group of my fellow northeast located ND fans had begun to put things in motion to get to MetLife for the Navy game, and have our wives spend the day in the city to make it possible.

As you can imagine that group message has gone quiet the past few days!

Win or lose this game, if Riley Leonard takes the first snap we’ll know coach Marcus doesn’t have what it takes to lead this team.

I hate that stupid chant the fans do every time after they get a first down.

Worst case scenario here is like a Leonard start and a 13-6 win on the back of the defense and our RB room. That lets the status quo continue. Heck, Leonard might even throw a (5 yard) touchdown pass! Gosh, with 1 pass TD in three games the heisman conversation might start back up!
