* Prosise's 155 yards I believe is the highest single game total in several years. Could be way wrong on that.

* Where has Corey Robinson been since like mid-season last year? He hasn't had a game with more than 3 catches since FSU.

* We need more production from the TE position.

* OL did not have a great day. Was hoping for a more inspired effort, like the last two games.

* Worst game by our secondary in a long time. Every DB looked like Gary Gray.

I thought these were excellent points, although you're right on everything, I wanted to highlight these. Procise is stepping up big time with the injury to Folston. I've been high on Procise since the spring of 2013, he's just a great athlete. He's the every down kind of back we need carrying the rock in games like today, he's got the heart that Cam and Riddick had.

I am surprised in the disappearance of Robinson, I was wondering myself wtf happened to him. Personnel issue, maybe? Seems like we're trying to stretch the field a lot with Brown and Fuller.

As far as TE's, yes. I think we need to look into a replacement for Booker. While ST have looked better this year, I think a lot of that has to do with the can't miss talent he's had to work with. TE though, we have so much talent at that position and we're getting very little production out of it. Awhile ago I pointed out that all of our great TE production came from guys that were first tutored by Bernie Parmalee. Niklas was the first to be completely coached under Booker, and production has been steadily dropping since Eifert. "Eifert was a phenom though!" Yeah, but his predecessor's weren't too shabby either. Booker has had a wealth of talent at the position and it should be a strength for this offense. We just don't utilize the position like we probably should.

As far as OL, yes. Credit Tenuta doing a great job bringing pressure, we did a poor job picking it up at times. OL needs to do better next week.

I think our biggest problem in the secondary was the fact nobody could seem to cover Severin. He was a huge part of their offense, and considering all the catches he was getting I don't know why we kept putting Butler with him throughout the game. He made us look silly.

I know you CAN, but we don't.

You don't need to do the math on all 11 guys because the backside OLB, both corners, and the safety are out of the play anyways (specifically talking 3rd and 2). Our formations are two extreme. It's either three wide shotgun or zero wide with all four tight ends in at once. The first leaves us with too few blockers while the second lets the defense load up without needing to honor the pass. The standard I formation is the best of both worlds.

Saying we don't need to worry about the backside doesn't really take away that you have an extra hat on the playside of the ball.

If you want to argue specific playcall selection, that's a bit different, and I am not saying I'm against the I or being under center, etc. I simply think ND is not going to make the championship game without designed QB runs, and with the way we were playing in this game, we sure as hell needed them to win.

Redfield had a cast on his arm today. Usually effects his ability to wrap up properly on a tackle. However, it's not an excuse for his play, just a reminder to us fans about his situation.

Hate the bad luck you guys have been hit with the last few years with injury. No team or their fans should have to endure that. Hold your heads up and keep the faith. Remember... You are Notre Dame. Always forward.

2015's Kizer-to-Fuller (UVA) = 2014's Golson-to-Koyack (Stanford)

Hopefully this season ends with a better 2nd half

Dunno if this has been mentioned, but UVA had the toughest opening 2 game stretch in a long time. They basically played 2 top 10 teams to start the season. That's insane.

Boy, the day after...losing Zaire sucks but I'm much more worried about this defense.

We won though, btw. This was my first ND game in a new house...when our new #1 hit Fuller in the end zone...let's just say the neighbors know what's up!!

Congrats on the house, bro! No better way to ring it in than with an ND W!

Thought the writer was a crier and did a lot of "LOOK! I TOLD YOU SO!" in this article. Not to mention, people do not seem to realize you can justify almost any play call made by a coach, and when they don't work out, you can make an easy argument against them.

haha yeah the guy is amazed tenuta blitzes like a mofo. wonder does he know the pope is a catholic
