All of you have missed the point. I haven't criticized ND. I've criticized a small segment of ND fans who, year after year, whine about the SEC, ESPN, the CFBPC, and anyone else they can think of and blame EVERYTHING on somebody else. Stop it. That's how fans of Auburn and every other little sister program act. Are you a third tier or little sister program? No? Then stop whining and making excuses like the fans of one.

Apparently, I struck a nerve with exactly the fans I was criticizing. I accused you of acting weak, whiny, and making excuses, and what did you do? You acted weak and whiny and made excuses and got pissy at me for pointing out that you act weak and whiny and pissy and make excuses. You really showed me, huh?

You are criticizing ND fans for “whining”, while your coach and a large segment of fans as well as conference mates have spent the better part of the last two seasons complaining, whining, crying etc ad nauseam. Not to mention, you are on a ND board that you for some reason hang out on and act like we are bitches for not liking Alabama. You’re either too dense, dumb or both to not get how idiotic and just useless that looks.

I stopped reading after the first couple of sentences. I’m just going to guess that he doubles down on his original take?

JFC. This isn't about me or Alabama or Saban or anyone else. It's about you and a handful of other fans who act like fans of an also ran program constantly whining about how somebody did you wrong and stole your trophy and left you out, or a bunch of little girls who didn't get invited to Susie's sleepover. FFS, act like fans of a blueblood, not some perpetual mid-tier program whose fans are always griping about how unfair everything is and blaming their situation on everyone else. Winners take responsibility for their success and failures. Losers blame everyone else and whine. Decide which one you are.

Sec is overrated & media hyped... Its that simple.. They have 1 win against other P4 conferences in 3 years in the playoffs. The results on the field show that there not even as good as the Acc. Preseason Rankings are the only reason there SoS looks good on paper. The amount of special favors they get with putting as many undeserving sec teams in the playoffs is ruining college football. Everyone is now on equal playing field and all the Sec does is wine. I dont see any reason why they should be allowed no more then 3 spots in this year's cfb. Results on the field matter in playoffs

So you just responded at random and it had nothing to do with Saban? Yes or No question.

I’ve posted at random about Saban months ago. You responded then too. Also just random?

Don’t insult our common senses. You like Saban. and feel potentially defensive of him. As you should!

TBH, it’s not a small segment of ND fans complaining. Outside of the SEC, It’s CFB fans
everywhere.

I’m sorry but every single time since the invention of the four team that Bama was left out their was massive public bitch fests from the fans and the program itself. None of which were the grave injustice that they were made out to be, just not the same preferential treatment that they all got used to

If the shoe had been on the other foot last year or the undefeated FSU year, Bama fans would’ve stormed the committee room like it was January 6th

Saban doesn't need me defending him. The only time I feel a need to do so is if someone intentionally misrepresents something he says or does. My point on all of this is still the same: fans of bluebloods don't act like you and a few others do. Stop whining. Stop making excuses. Stop blaming other for your problems. Take responsibility for your successes and failures instead of whining and blaming others.

I have a friend who's an Auburn grad. Nice guy in most ways, but in his mind, Auburn has NEVER committed a penalty, had a bad play, lost a game, or made a mistake. Every single penalty against them is the refs screwing them over. Ever bad play is the opponent cheating. Every loss was cheating and biased refs and the SEC trying to keep them down. Every drop in the polls or being left out of the playoffs is the pollsters or committee intentionally mistreating them. Don't be that guy.

Bishop last thing from me here, repeating the same thing 5 times doesn’t make it better point. Your lack of self reflection to even try to absorb an ounce of understanding on another’s POV besides endless disingenuous rambling about being being a whiny bitch has zero value.

Treating Bishop like a serious person who is capable of coherent thought, let alone good faith discussion, is a loser's game and lessens the entire board. Do us all a favor and ignore him.

I may not agree with us missing the playoff, but I blame ourselves for losing two winnable games at the beginning of the season, in addition to ESPN throwing their hat in the ring and stumping hard for Alabama. I feel like Alabama probably did more NOT to make their case with the way they finished the season, as oppose to say...Miami and the ACC crying until they finally jumped us despite the fact we were a far better team since early September and Miami stumbled twice after mid season.

That said, Bishop is usually pretty fair and gives us credit where credit is due while still supporting his team. You don't hang around on an Irish board as a Bama fan for 14 years by being a troll.

I have yet to see why a team with negative rushing yardage in a meaningful game should have been in the playoff. Alabama had -3 rushing yards against Georgia. NEGATIVE THREE.

This stat, combined with a the CFP committee saying that they moved Bama into playoff position because they liked their running game, is effectively proof that the outcome was fixed. It was a key justification to move Bama ahead but then didn't matter with NEGATIVE rushing yards in an entire game of football? Horse poopies.

Rereading the posts from the last few days (it’s like three pages… really not that hard), it sure does seem like one guy is whining more than the others.

And it all started with defending Nick Saban, who clearly has a biased interest in promoting his conference. We’re not “obsessing endlessly” over the SEC -- it was their media week. And if you take the 5 minutes to go to the tweet and read the comments, you’ll see plenty of other people with the same take.
