Many here are predicting lots of TDs for Rees and Tackles/ Sacks for the DL. The former isn't ideal, and the latter is unlikely.
The only way Tommy gets 3-4 TDs is if we're playing from behind again and can't afford to run the ball. If our OL wins the war against their DL (which it should, they don't have much depth), then Cierre and Jonas are getting most of those.
I laughed at the predicted rushing TD for Rees. McGibblets should make that a prop bet for every game; low probability, huge payout.
Nix had 7 tackles against USF, which is a lot for a NT who's only in on Standard Downs. We ultimately want our DL to simply be immovable and shut down everything between the tackles. Fleming and Shembo should rack up a lot of tackles if they're staying home and keeping contain.
Gray and Smith are due for a big game; I'll predict a crucial INT for one of them. Riddick needs a big game more than anyone else; I really hope he produces, if only for his confidence. I'd love to predict a big bounce back from Turk, but the only bounce back he seems capable of is the bad kind following a ~35 yard punt.
I have to second OMM's sentiment. Its a cliche, but this game will be won or lost in the trenches. Our units are superior on both sides of the ball. When we win, it will be because the DL (with some OLB help) contained Robinson, and the OL kept their DL on rollerskates.

I really think that the TJ Jones and Theo Riddick combo is going to eat up this Michigan defense... because I guarantee you Mattison is going bring a bunch of silly blitz packages to try to confuse Tommy and basically roll coverage to Floyd all game to force someone else to beat them. Theo and TJ are those guys.

That said, I do find it annoying when you egg people on. I know it's just your way of coping. It just rubs me the wrong way sometimes.

the obvious key is containing denard robinson.
other than the obvious one, though, i think is the passing game. Michigan will obviously do all they can to keep Floyd from getting open and having a huge day. So I think it comes down to Eifert, Jones, and Riddick to take pressure off of Rees by getting open when Floyd is doubled. Regardless I think Floyd is too good to be stifled by the scUM defense, but I think Riddick will have a huge bounceback game. The athleticism is obviously there--it'll all come down to him catching the football, which I think he should be able to do.
Nothing crazy, but something like 90 yards and a TD. That would be vurry nice.
