This is horrific. When parents can't send their children to school without fear of them being shot, society has lost it's grip on humanity. My deepest sorrow is felt for everyone involved and I offer my prayers.

When you see something like this it does put everything into context. When innocent children are dying the idea of rather ND wins the national championship or gets a certain recruit isn't important.

Just saw this on the news. Horrible. Just wish all schools would have police like we do in my county. Neighboring counties start police in middle schools but elementary schools are left unsecured.

As a parent it is very disturbing that you can't send your kids to school with out knowing if someone is going to come in the school and start shooting.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families and the police officer,ems ,an other officals that have to see these kids wounded or dead. Then get off their shift and go home to their families know it could have been one of theirs. I am pretty sure i don't know anyone there but my heart bleeds for them. This just keeps getting worse.

As i type this with blurred vision from the tears in my eyes the updated report is now 18 children dead. This a terrible day for the USA. Please lord comfort these families and everyone else involved lord.

Yahoo article earlier said he was a father of a student, but now that is gone and it says there are 2 suspects. One dead, One at large.

The article on CBS news is that this guy drove from New Jersey to this school. They also said that the 2nd suspect was in the woods so they are question him.

I have twins on the way and I know that I will make sure and cherish each and every moment with them....


May God help them in their time of need.
