Probably fruitless but it’s something
This smells bad, but hopefully it is something

CNN just reported the same thing while interviewing Mitt Romney. Obvious concerns about possible assassination attempt. Surely President Zelensky will not be there in person.Strange choice considering Belarus is in the middle of deploying troops to Ukraine to fight on behalf of Putin. Seems suspect to me but I'm sure smarter brains are working the logistics.
NFZs were authorized by the UN in Lybia and Bosnia. I thought it was Iraq as well but that was a US coalition NFZ without UN approval. Im not certain of the UN rules for such and I guess the Security council veto could be a problem but if it is able to passed in GA then I see no way Russia can claim the US is provoking war. As of now the US is letting the European countries make announcements on sanctions and such and taken a back seat there even though we know they are heavily involved in all aspects of this current situation.
Yes I have lmao. What he says in public is saber rattling and propaganda. He knows what he did, why he did it and his generals and cabinet known what he did. As does the whole world because of mainly Biden dumping the intel daily before the invaison.Have you been paying attention to what’s been coming out of his mouth? Dude is blaming everyone outside of Russia for this war.
That’s pretty much common knowledge, but how does that stop him from blaming the U.S.?Yes I have lmao. What he says in public is saber rattling and propaganda. Everyone knows this war was premeditated and manufactured on their end. Even China has stayed away from it and Russia only has one ally which is Belarus.
It doesn’t matter. He can blame whoever he wants and look like a fool for doing it. Everyone knows what he is doing. He could stare at a wall and blame a turd. Doesn’t matter one bit who he blames. No one out side of Ukraine will do anything to him until he does something first. Until then it’s all talk. I’m fully confident the Us is ready should he cross any line on our allies. I’d also like think one of his generals is standing by ready to take him out should he try to launch a nuke. That’s pretty much common knowledge, but how does that stop him from blaming the U.S.?

We agree. nobody has been buying what he’s selling and won’t forward. We agree. My point is regardless of if he has any buyers goingor not, it won’t stop him from blaming the U.S. if he wants to.
I agree. Outside of Belarus he’s not getting any buyers and won’t. I’m simply saying that it won’t stop him from continuing his propaganda. The more he does the more foolish he looks. It doesn’t matter. He can blame whoever he wants and look like a fool for doing it. Everyone knows what he is doing. You keep saying it won’t stop him and I ask again who cares? What does it matter. It doesn’t. I also said that it will make him look a fool to continue to blame anyone other than himself. Again what does it matter?I agree. Outside of Belarus he’s not getting any buyers and won’t. I’m simply saying that it won’t stop him from continuing his propaganda. Did I not say nobody is buying it? Isn’t that pretty much saying it won’t matter? You keep saying it won’t stop him and I ask again who cares? What does it matter. It doesn’t. I also said that it will make him look a fool to continue to blame anyone other than himself. Again what does it matter?
You keep asking what’s going to stop him from blaming US and I don’t get why you keep asking. You have asked twice and my response has been the same. It doesn’t matter lol. If you agree then we agree. No need to ask it again 😂Did I not say nobody is buying it? Isn’t that pretty much saying it won’t matter?

Deterrence buys time for diplomacy and sanctions to work. I'm sure you recall how to Cold War was waged. We fought through proxies, never directly against each other. The Soviets invaded lots of countries, but we kept them out of those we deemed vital to our interests. So what is the real benefit of military deterrence if our enemies have an asymmetrical appetite for risk? Bad actors with nukes get to do whatever they want because the West would never dare use them? At what point does the the civilian bombing in Kiev get bad enough that NATO kicks Putin to the side like the dog he is?
I don’t know the answers but just asking questions here.
Please quote where I said I think or observe it is smart. I’ll wait…Not sure where my prior opinions play into the question of whether it is a good thing to be touting something as smart when it's done by a brutal dictator.
Please share your thoughts and observations on why it is smart.
Using grammar/original thought will make your points hold weight.
Agreed. Equally important is that it also to some extent both directly and indirectly weakens China. Seeing their biggest military ally struggle to overtake Ukraine, and lose quite a bit of troops and equipment in the process, while also potentially damaging their financial standing is a net positive. As is the potential expansion of Nato to include some countries with militaries in that region of the world that are definitely notable. Russia may or may not be a bit of a paper tiger, but either way, seeing them exposed and weakened on the world stage definitely means something as it pertains to China. Here's a Sunday hot take: All sides (except Ukraine) are good with the current situation. Russia because Putin wants to put the band back together and reconstitute the Soviet Union. US/EU because they are tired of Putin and his games and have few other hopes of getting him out. How does this war get rid of Putin? Consider two facts. Russias economy is the size of Mexicos and driven by oil sales. Also 70-75% of the entire Russian military is on the border with Ukraine. If this drags on for any time and the Russian military starts losing significant military assets it will not be sustainable. This will weaken Putin if not outright cause his ouster.
One thing is for sure..
i know most or your views lean as strong left ss possible, but it actually is still a real thing in the world to be able to have thoughts/opinions, and make statements of thought/observation that are held separate from one’s actual emotions and feelings. One does not need to be necessarily tied to the other.
Im not sure why it wouldnt be reasonable for him to observe something as smart or well timed, while also not supporting it or believing it is just or right.
See above, "I'm not sure why it wouldnt be reasonable" showing implicit approval of the statement that it is smart. Lmao. Please quote where I said I think or observe it is smart. I’ll wait…
Using facts and reality will make ANYTHING you say hold more weight, but nice pivot away from my original point. Somebody can think something is savvy or smart, without feeling it is right, wrong or having ANY KIND of emotion towards it really. It also doesnt mean their opinion of whether it is savvy or not is correct, just THEIR thoughts at the time.
The point is you lack reading comprehension and try to push your political leanings into everything. You took the first part of a sentence and applied meaning or “implicit approval” without attaching the second part which provides the context that it is reasonable for him to say he thinks something is smart, without feeling it is right. How is it even possible that I am having to explain it this to somebody I perceive is an adult. God help us.See above, "I'm not sure why it wouldnt be reasonable" showing implicit approval of the statement that it is smart. Lmao.
What is your point though? It's a jumbled word salad of perceived grievances that I'm "being emotional" when I'm asking for how anything is smart or savvy about this.
Another pivot as well. You accused of him being “sympathetic” to Putin, you did not ask him to explain why he thinks it smart or savvy. Do you do drugs??See above, "I'm not sure why it wouldnt be reasonable" showing implicit approval of the statement that it is smart. Lmao.
