Freeeee ToooooT
Strange because people largely stopped caring after the Michigan route. Guess last night brought the spotlight back to our depth issues.
Hey, not me. FREE EVERYONE!
gut feeling: longer this goes the more I worry the results are going to be very bad.
On what grounds? There's no legal case here whatsoever. Kelly or Jenkins could bench a player for no reason other than they didn't like the way he ate his bacon in the morning. These kids need to start looking at legal help IMO.
During Sunday teleconference, Kelly just said the players haven't had their hearing yet.
Doug Farmer reported that BK had no update, not that the hearings for sure haven't happened...idk wtf is going on I just hope it's resolved soon.

I wold say there is some basis for loss of value or future earnings possibly? Not sure but this year could have been significant for both of them and possibly Ishaq as well regarding a future in the NFL
No chance. That's like a finance major suing because a professor gave them a poor grade. Notre Dame has zero obligation to provide these players with a forum in which they can display their skills.I wold say there is some basis for loss of value or future earnings possibly?
That's part of the reason why no one puts much stock in your opinion...
Extracirricular activities at a private university are a privilege, not a right. I'm betting that ND could tell Keivarae Russell that no one with two first names can play football, and there would be very little, if anything, that KR could do about it.
Yeah but Kelly is allowed to bench them for whatever reason he wants. So unless a player should be able to sue a coach for not playing them, I don't really see any claim they could make.
The larger question is if what ND is doing is moral. If they have all the information and the investigation has concluded it's extremely hard to make the case that they are.

Any lawyer who tried would be laughed out of the courtroom.Don't get me wrong, I am just entertaining the idea. Are you telling me that there is not a lawyer than can make that argument?
Decreased NFL draft status is 1) unprovable, 2) impossible to measure, 3) not within the legal scope of "harm". Again, Notre Dame doesn't owe their players an NFL career and therefore can't be punished for failure to provide them with one.And to greyhammer that is part if it. Is ND negligent in their process and did that negligence cause ANY harm to the individuals, irrespective give of innocence or guilt.
