Can we speculate on when this honor committee will hold the interview/hearing?

I need some real talk to get me through the work day.

Why speculate about something that matters? Everyone is having a good time speculating the worst about these guys being out socializing

Terrorists are to blame for everything. The scandal, the losses, the failed recruitments, and also the spelling/grammar issues.

btw-Kap out and about to be 28-0.

I never said they were drunk. As I said earlier, football players were usually the most sober people at the bar. But they do go out socially fairly frequently. There's a reason the players stay in a hotel the night before the game.

Speaking truth. Bed check is a real thing for a real reason.

And there's our answer. He's the "bed checker."

Not one person has said anything about the subject of their actions are alcohol related. It's all about staying out of potentially embarrassing situations when you are in the spotlight for completely embarrassing the university. It's about keeping a low profile when you are in the spotlight for being completely irresponsible. Going out partying every night is not "totally normal activity" for student athletes who just caused the university possible NCAA violations. I have no idea why you believe that completely normal and acceptable response to betraying the trust of the school, coaches and team mates is to go party at Club Fever.

Yeah... that's exactly what we said. Maybe this group just doesn't see how this situation is something that should lead to celebration. What in the hell are these guys supposed to be happy about right now? They got kicked off of the team, possibly lost their entire football career, embarrassed the university on a national scale, betrayed the trust of their coaches/teammates and possibly cost us games. If that is what you consider a totally acceptable time to go out and party with friends, then I guess that is your problem.

I know DD and KRuss have...

Wooly......it'd be a good time to step off the ledge......remember these are still kids, and kids make mistakes. Just the way of life. Lax makes a good point:should these kids who are under investigation, sit in their rooms, and do absolutely nothing, especially if they did nothing wrong. Besides, if they are guilty, I highly doubt they can do much more harm to the University than they've already done.

Last time I checked, they've been suspended from Football related activities......not from school. Or did I miss something??? Relax Dude, for football season starts tomorrow!!!!!!

They should be doing what DD and KRuss are doing. Staying out of the spotlight, stop doing anything that could be perceived as embarrassing to the university. Basically, cool their jets until this thing is hashed out. Especially Ishaq, who has his entire career on the line. They have the rest of their lives to party at sh!tty nightclubs. Maybe right now is a better time to focus on being responsible for once.

Basically... Act like an adult.

I'm cool as a cucumber, so chill with the "RELAX" comments.

Building named after him on campus

More importantly, the business school that building houses is named after him as well. He and most of the other heavy, heavy hitters as far as donations are concerned were at a function at the Morris Inn yesterday. It's pretty safe to assume he knows what he's talking about.

The guy pretty much created the corporate culture of NetApp. Does public speaking too.

Who said they aren't being responsible? Just because they are going out most nights doesn't mean that they are getting hammered or acting irresponsibly. You are making an assumption about them with very little information (just that they go out). Now I will admit that it is possible that they are getting hammered out of their minds but it is just as possible that they have very little to do (classes just started a few days ago) and with no football they have tons of free time on their hands so they are hanging out with some friends to kill time. Also how is adults going out for a drink "embarrassing for the university"?

I never made assumptions that they were acting up or getting hammered. What I am saying is that they shouldn't be putting themselves in compromising situations when their actions have already caused our current state of national embarrassment.

Tell me, what do you think the headlines would be if some drunk bro came up to them at the bar and started a fight? Do you think the national media would say, "oh, they were just being kids and not really drinking too much at the bar". No... they would say that a bunch of already suspended Notre Dame football players were out getting hammered and beating up people.

Perception is reality, my friend. Regardless of how they are acting inside the actual club, there is zero upside to being there in the first place. Again, they have their entire lives to dance on fatties in sh!tty nightclubs. I don't think giving it a rest until the dust has cleared from a national story they created is too much to ask.

Again... you don't see KRuss and DD out there every night. This isn't "one night blowing off steam", they have continued to be seen out partying. Its embarrassing.

I absolutely hate this comment. Not just from you, but people in general that use it for people that are old enough to serve our country, buy alcohol, carry a firearm, finance cars and houses, and the list goes on. They are not kids, some may be immature. People mature at a different rate. But they are not kids.

Also, this should teach all college students to use your personal emails not the school emails.
