Color me confused as to where that leaves us. A completely different set of guys suspended lol?

He didn't say more suspended. He said more hits coming and expect it to be vacated wins.

I suppose players could still be cleared somehow but doubtful.

The only way it makes sense>>>2012 season... the other players already graduated or went to NFL.

In his latest posts he didn't talk about anyone new being suspended.

Chiro = chiropractor which also reminds me of Alan Harper, the chiropractic (dr) of Charles "Rosco" Harper. Is this the same type of Chiro with whom we are dealing with?

For those of you in Chicago Phillip Daniels was just on nbc sports Sunday. To talk about the bears they then asked him about DD. He got a little firery but said he hadn't heard from anyone besides Alford . He seemed pissed CBK hadn't called him. He said right now the investigation centers on the ND email system back and forth with this chick to show they did their own work. Like any parent he defended his son and said he did his own work. He also said that he personally reviewed DD work and corresponded with this email address showing that dd did the work. He was pissed they aren't practicing and that he found out through the media not ND as a parent of a student.

Vacating wins when the NCAA isn't mandating that you vacate wins would be the most ND thing ever.

"Oh look there is no possible way that we could've known that these players were ineligible but turns out they were once we went back and recalculated GPAs with all of these essays we found through super-sleuthing electronic communiques so we're just going to vacate them anyways because WE think it's the right thing to do and we're so proactive and pure at heart."

This entire school needs a reality check if that happens.

Simply put, there are a million different theories out there but more often than not it's the worst case scenario that's the true one sooooo #prayerthread?

If the tutor is the one who told then it shouldn't take 2 weeks to go through emails to see if they cheated.

I think it's slightly different for athletes in that the University can comment on their status AS athletes. Folks would obviously notice if DD fell off the face of the earth with no word from BK or anybody. I think that's why you hear general things like "...for academic reasons" versus specifics like "...cheated on his accounting final." But I'm no expert.

Obviously not, since they named names in the press conference. I know they have FERPA protection but I don't know where the line is.

You can't comment on specifics (such as he got 3 F's and 1 D) but you can comment on them in relation to the sport. So player X is missing the season due to ACL surgery or player Y is unavailable due to academic reasons. They can't tell you what the academic reason is but athletes operate under a slightly different rule but still similar.
