First, I second that. Second, it's nice to see you two playing nicely! Third, for Lax, great article today! I hate every reason that you had to write it for and I could not agree with you more. I have zero problem with upholding standards, but until there was grounds for running these kids through the mud, nobody needed to know about it. I have no idea what will be the final outcome of this, but to this point I have been very disappointed with how this has been handled publicly. Anyways great job bro!

I posted that i thought Manti was aware that 'Lennay' didn't exist well before the story broke but hoped that everything would work out for him.

I'm glad it's largely fizzled out that and the most embarrassing details don't really get repeated (the breathing, the voice, the fact he met Ronaiah).

Let's not re-hash former 'scandals' ;-)

Emphasis on "cannot be confirmed". A lot of people are getting their hopes up big-time (it's hard but I'm trying to temper mine), but nothing is done yet. For every 5 people that tell me (or things I read), 2 people are telling me that the players will be expelled. It's crazy how much misinformation is out there.

Every time I think things might be OK, I hear some different news. Things definitely look better, but I'm just saying, it's Notre Dame, so expect the worst. That's my fatalistic view anyway lol.

This "cleared" stuff screams unconfirmed internet rumor. Not one person with first hand knowledge has confirmed it. And I don't know how they'd clear people so quickly and over a weekend. But it's possible... and there are a lot of relatively reputable people saying it'll come true...

But not one person in "the know" before this story broke has confirmed this reinstatement, and contrarily the early indication were that these four were done. On top of that, everything Kelly said was in past tense referring to these players, which is a pretty typical tell.

I've got the same thing going on. I ended up putting him on ignore, which I don't like to do. That was the only way I could read the posts after his.
