Wilford Brimley passed at the age of 85. Enjoyed his acting. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. May he Rest in Peace.

Dude did a lot of films, Cocoon, Absence of Malice, The China Syndrome some of his better known. Had that "cranky guy" portrayal down pat. RIP.

Raymond G. Allen Sr., the actor who played Aunt Esther's perpetually drunk husband Woodrow Anderson on Sanford & Son, passed away today at the age of 91. Allen was a character actor with roles on several shows during the 70's.

In 2015, I wrote that we visited ND for the USC game. Rick asked us to light candles for him (just diagnosed with ALS) and Aurel. We all did and said our prayers at the Grotto and thanked the Almighty for having such exceptional coaches/teachers and friends.

God bless you Coach, thanks for all the lessons and RIP.

I still haven't seen Black Panther (I'm super behind on MCU, I've only seen about 1/4 of the movies), but I've seen Boseman in his Avengers spots, on SNL, and various promotional appearances in recent years. He seemed like a very warn and kind individual, he died much too young.

I just read an article about all the stuff he did with the kids that had cancer. Pretty cool. Cancer sucks. This is one thing everyone can say they lost someone too.

I saw Black Panther earlier this year. I really just started watching the Marvel movies, last year or so, and BP didn't resonate with me. I went in with low expectations and came out amazed at how regal he seemed in the role. It was a good movie, too.

The first news outlet I saw with the story of his passing was our local newspaper. I thought they got fooled by one of those fake-death websites. Cancer sucks.

Was known as Tom Terrific. Heart and soul of the '69 Miracle Mets. One of the best MLB pitchers ever. Won three Cy Youngs. Was known for using his legs to generate his power.
