Anyone know anything about this kid. He's 6'4" 208 and runs a 4.37 40, he's #62 on Rivals top 100, and the #6 Ath, and has ND on his shorts list. I think he'll end up a WR with that size and speed.

Word is he'll play baseball.

He's been offered by ND along with just about everybody in the SEC. Looks like he'll stay in the South.

Anyhow, we do not need another reciever. We have a surplus already.

Really?

We have 3 WR verbals. Two are possible CBs/KRs. The most likely candidate for early PT was just discharged from a hospital and faces 5 months of grueling therapy. Injury Ends Robby Parris HS Career

Are you old enough to remember Bo Jackson? Probably the best athlete in my lifetime. I doubt anybody worked harder to try and overcome an injury.

ND loses a bunch of receivers with the next graduation. We lose most of our tall WRs. Do you see a receiver with Shelton's speed on the roster or recruit list? Not the Shelton of '05 so far but the one that set the reception record last year before he was injured.

I'm impressed with what I read about Riley but think our chances are slim - unless he identifies with Samardzija and his success on the gridiron and the diamond. With Weis and Mainardi he has two shots at the pros and if that doesn't work out he'd have an ND education for the next 40 years.

Agreed 100% - If anything, Weis is going to make this position a huge need.

Just to add another point... the wide receiver position is generally considered the easiest position to get on the field so not seeing DJ Hord or any of the other fellas even get burn in garbage time is a big disturbing.

I think Weis will get 2-3 world beaters next year. I hope, at least.

Holtz and Davie had trouble recruiting prime time WRs because of their type of offense. Willingham's West Coast offense held the promise to recruits that they would get the ball. But it wasn't until Weis that the promise became reality.

I expected that when the Weis offense got rolling the prime time WRs would sit up and take notice and be on the next plane, train, or car headed to South Bend for a visit. So far it hasn't happened.

Maybe last Saturday's Florida/Alabama game followed by the ND/PU game caught some eyes.

But they better hurry while there's still a slot or two left open.

Anybody know anything about Mcknight? It would be nice to have him back for the USC game. You can never have too many WRs.

Most random bump anywhere

But Anzalone is dating his sister and she is straight dime piece. Very tall glass of water.

We will only have 9s and 10s at Jimmy's party

We'll park Ryan at the door so he can turn away all the SB 8s and under.
