I know that it's too early. But it's new years. And I'm still high off that victory.

Let's assume that:
Floyd and Rudolph Return
We get Ishaq, but only Ishaq
RichRod stays at Michigan
Luck goes pro

given our schedule:
South Florida
Michigan
Michigan State
Pittsburgh
Purdue
Air Force
USC
Navy
Wake Forest
Maryland
Boston College
Stanford

my prediction is 10-2.. all of these games seem winnable, but in typical notre dame fashion i think we will lose a headscratcher or two

what do you think?

as said in another post 10-2 under most circumstances, we CAN win all of these games, but we wont, in 2009 we were a combined 28 points away from playing for a national championship, however 10-2 is a safe bet.*

I think we get Floyd back, no Kyle.

I feel you on losin a head scratcher, but it's hard to pick a game ND will lose, especially if they progress as they have with Kelly. I wish we had UM MSU later in the season, or split between week 3 and week 7. It feels good too be confident though. It was torture pickin automatic losses off the schedule (USC) for years

8-9 games with Tommy Rees.

Possibly 10 with somebody else (Crist, Hendrix, Golson).

these projections are all under the unlikely assumption that floyd and rudy return.

i think that rees would be the most stable and consistent, a good game manager, and could be perfect if we have a good running game and an elite defense like we've shown over these past four games.

but i think that we would have a MUCH higher ceiling as an offense with someone like hendrix or golson running the offense, due to their alleged ability to run the ball.

I'll revise my previous prediction and go with a safe 0-12.

I implore the Gods of the Jinx to help me in my endeavors.

i think south florida will a tougher opening than some may think

We'll destroy them ala Nevada 2009 style...

Bless Skippy boy, though. He would love to come to dad's house and win, but it's not going to happen with Brian Kelly at the helm.

The Kelly era is here gentlemen. Strap it up, it's going to be an epic story....

I don't like Goodman at punt returner. I heard on the broadcast that he is averaging 1.4 yards per return. I think that we'll probably see DaVaris Daniels there next year.

Anyway, about the schedule...

South Florida - They were pretty subpar this year. They have an offseason to change that, so we could see a bit of a struggle in week one.
Michigan - It's in the Big House. Who knows? Michigan returns 10 starters (only missing their center), including Robinson. Perhaps another shootout.
Michigan State - They lose some key players, but should still be a solid 8-9 win program next year. It's at home, which helps.
Pittsburgh - With the recent Haywood arrest, Pitt is very much in doubt. They'll be missing Baldwin, but still have the Lewis/Graham combination. Could be a tough one.
Purdue - Might be difficult. Probably our easiest game of the early season.
Air Force - Tricky team. Run that triple option. Could be a trap game.
USC - Lots of talent, but it's Kiffin.
Navy - Tricky. You all know why.
Wake Forest - They suck. Easiest game on the 2011 schedule.
Maryland - Who will be at the head? Rich Rod? Mike Leach? Lots of questions to be answered.
Boston College - They really sucked when we played them, but they finished strong. Chase Rettig is no slouch, and their young team should return improved in 2011. Look out for Luke Kuechly.
Stanford - Do they have Harbaugh? If so, it will be the toughest game outside of Michigan (yeah, I said it) next year.

Darn it. I predicted I would have a good year this year and Kate Beckinsale would buy me some coffee. It could happen.

Which mall

The one in Ann Arbor where his beloved Wolverines are.

... There needs to be photos.
No need. He reveals his disingenuous trolling I.D. On mgoblue.com with the signature, " when i was born, the placenta was maize and blue" He uses the same handle, dskoo65 over there as he does here.

Unlike maison blue who made his loyalties clear when he joined this board years ago and who can discuss football as rivals with mature wit, dskoo65 is simply a wolverine troll satisfying his obsession by hair pulling.
