This is my first time in this thread. What the fuck is going on lol
To sum up...
1. Lonely fella comes looking to IE (of all places) for advise on dating. Not even sure if he is an ND fan. Don't recall him ever talking about ND. Ever....
2. IE is happy to oblige with a heavy suggestion of PIIHB and other variants of the act.
3. Dude goes on a few dates and seems to crash and burn often. On to the next set of dates.
4. More misfortune in the love department and eventually turns to MILFs at one point if I'm not mistaken
5. Hair turns green as confirmed by his avatar.
6. Our boy brick starts to slay and is banging dimes often
7. In an accident and made bank. Not sure if the heavier checking account contributed to the out of nowhere spike in baddy dimes.
8. You finally click on the "Question About A Girl" thread.

If I left out any key details, please feel free to add on my IE brothers.

Here's my 2 cents. And a looong story tried to make as short as possible.

I have been in 3 relationships equalling 23 years (I'm 47 now), I never wanted to get married or have kids and was lucky enough to find women that felt the same.

Since my last breakup (over 2 years ago) I have been the happiest of my life and saved a SHIIIIIIIIT ton of money. Still on par to retire at 50!

Also I have not been on one single date and have absolutely NO ambition to ever date again as my life is perfect the way it is now.

Take it for what it's worth.
We were really looking for what Brick has been up to nowadays, not so much this.

Glad life is going well for you, it’s all about what you want in life

Me personally, I can’t imagine life without my kids and wife but I totally respect when people can make decisions that’s best for them. Anywho let’s get back to brick, he’s the reason for this incredible thread

My follow-on 2 cents:

My life is the near inverse of the above. 2 long relationships, 1 marriage nearing 13 years and only getting better. My wife and kids are truly the greatest joy I could've ever imagined, despite the massive effort they require (mostly the kids). Pouring my energy and focus into making their lives better gives me more purpose and fulfillment than I was ever able to find prior. I still have plenty of things that I enjoy doing but most of my efforts are directed toward the family.

Main Point:
Think hard about your current and future self and decide what is most important and order your life towards that end. You have two posters with radically different lives who are both happy with their paths.

and hopefully she'll let you PIIHB from time to time but no guarantees.

You gotta remember to fit the potentially uncapped punitive damages from his second accident in there at the end, but other than that, 💯

Changes when they're your own. An amazing journey.
I have no doubt. My biggest problem I have with not having kids is that I won't have anyone to take care of me when I get all ripe and old. Thankfully I have a good friend who said he would push me off a cliff. (I gave him permission already) 🤣🤣🤣
