Whoa... was that really in Animaniacs??

It was indeed. I actually read an article on cracked dot com recently about "things hidden in kids programming" or some such title.

I figured this was timely material, especially since Animaniacs is now on Netflix.

The biggest impact Prince has had on my life was the Chappelle skit sadly.

By all accounts, Prince was a bit of a weird dude.

My brother's first reaction to me when I told him Prince was dead was, "Oh, no more basketball & pancakes."

The little sister of a friend of mine got to meet Prince back in the late 80's and said he was an odd dude. He asked her & her friends she was with if they wanted to kiss his ring. lol

The Roots.. would we consider them 'current'??

They're easily one of the best hip hop acts ever imo... so much more depth than you commonly see in that genre... love me some Roots.

The Roots are great. So much talent.

Regarding instruments, I don't have a lot of respect for musicians if they don't play instruments. I'm not saying that it doesn't take talent to do what they do, but I'm sorry... Real music uses instruments.

Aren't they doing something with Elvis Constello?

Questlove is a bad bad man. While being a good good guy. One of my buds keeps telling me to pick up his book. I think its Something to Food About, or something like that.

What nobody on here wants to stand up for what i refer to as Disney Pop?

Arianna Grande
Austin ? from Austin and Ally
Demi Lovato
Selena Gomez
Debby Ryan
Victoria Justice
etc?

I am not normally a fan of Demi Lovato but she killed Hello by Lionel Richie at the Grammys. She has one Hell of a voice.

I have been shocked over the complete lack of "game,... blouses" stuff out there since his passing.....

Just a guess, but I'm betting you have a Mr. November shirt somewhere in your closet.

You guessed wrong. Although I did sign up to volunteer for the 2012 campaign for a free The National concert, a week or so before voting for Mitt Romney...
