I’m only surprised that idiots are upset about this. The left found this think tank document that Trump literally had nothing to do with and thought it was extreme, so they tried to tie him to it. They made it their talking point and it didn’t really land, IMHO. I don’t know a single republican who gives a shit about it. I would be stunned to see anyone in the Trump WH even reference it. Ok, I'm sorry. The American people would have loved to have their taxes increased as she suggested so we can pay for more bullshit that we don't need. I see the light now, Kamala was an excellent candidate, and it's clear that racism in this country is the only reason she failed to win the White House. Is it common to release full interviews with boring behind the scenes stuff included?
No, but I think the entire content of discussion should normally be released. The candidates full an unedited response should be publicly available by the media outlet. If you chose not to air the unedited version on TV to cut out filler, that's fine I guess, but not releasing it and refusing to release it when called upon to is sketchy at best.
