If that trend continues even a little - and it reaches 20-25% - it'll be a long time before the Dems win another presidential election. He also took more than 40% of the Hispanic vote, the most in twenty years. Like him or not, Trump just did a major expansion of the Right's voter base. If he can continue to court those voters and keep his promises to them over the next four years, this will be an enormous shift in power to the Right for ages.

I see. Now the argument has shifted to how “quiet” things were and not “war”. Ok. Generally speaking, there was a bit less large scale global conflict while Trump was president. How much did that have to do with his policies?

I would argue that his policies helped set the table for both the Ukraine War and the current conflict in the Middle East but that’s another topic.

The guys in Iran had the balls to fire ballistic missiles directly at US troops stationed in Iraq in January of 2020.

It's helped ensure that every child has access to be educated. Protects disabled children from being discriminated against in educational environments. There's more and a lot that I don't think they should have a hand in, like pell grants and and the federal student loan program.

Probably? I was just stating a few of what I feel are positives they do. There's definitely ways to codify the protections. I don't know if that's part of the plans to get rid of the department. I would hope so and hope they're done at the federal level.
