I have no doubt you believe he said it.
I’ll never understand why you and others on this board believe Trump over seemingly anyone. I get that you like his policies, and maybe even his persona, but he’s a compulsive liar for crissakes! He lies even when he doesn’t need to!

These polls are really weird. There's no chance that Trump is down 3 in Iowa and there's no chance that Harris wins PA or WI and loses MI. I'm also not buying AZ being more red than GA.

Lol there you go again worried about what I do with my time. I spend at most 20 min a day on this forum.

This is a great highlight in how you don't actually understand how the firm you work at runs. A staff accountant would absolutely not be doing anything that I described, they would actually do accounting work. If the partners have no role in new business then I truly have no idea what the point being a partner is at your "firm", pumping out low leverage compilation or personal tax returns for low margins? And you're questioning my billables L O L.
Not one worry whatsoever. Just an observation.

Only took you a few days to admit that one. You assumed a lot and knew nothing. To quote Coach Bombay from the Mighty Ducks movie...

"Keep swingin, Conway. Maybe you'll give 'em a cold..."

What makes you say ‘no chance?’ And Georgia voted for Biden and 2 Democratic senators.

Georgia is more Republican than Arizona. The only reason Georgia has 2 Democratic Senators was because Trump and his people told GOP voters to not vote in the runoff because it was rigged, and unfortunately enough people listened to them. Had Trump not done that, Perdue and Loeffler would've won their runoffs. In 2022, AZ Republicans lost multiple state-wide races and there was a red wave in Georgia with only Walker losing because he was a terrible candidate.

Polls these days are drawn from 1% responses rates they are all meaningless and the polling companies are afraid of looking dumb so they just say everything is too close to call

AZ must have broken red because there seems to be a consensus there.

Iowa is likely Trump.

The blue wall will go 3/3 IMO. Just not sure which way. Either way, it’s game over for someone.

Betting has heavily skewed towards Trump today, almost a 20 point lead.

Not too late for some of you to do an emotional hedge and bet Harris to make some nice money in the event of an upset at this point. It’s a +140 bet right now.

I like most of his policies, but dislike most of his persona. Those of us on the Right find it bizarre how those of you on the Left blindly believe anything and everything negative about him, regardless of how nonsensical it is, how at odds with the rest of his actions, or the lack of evidence. As for the specific charge of claiming soldiers were losers and suckers, that's totally at odds with all the rest of his attitude and behavior towards the military, and several others have said he absolutely didn't say it, Seems a LOT more likely that it's a case of one disgruntled person claiming something that simply isn't true and a lot of people believing it because it's something negative about someone they hate. Feel free to believe what you want, though.

The thing is we have over 40 years of evidence of Trump being famous. Everything he’s said and done has been well documented. His history of awful behavior and incessant lying has been, shall we say, extensive. That’s why so many people, not just on the left, believe everything negative about him.

With regards to his attitude towards the military, when Don Jr. told him he was going to join the military, he told him that he’d be disowned. That doesn’t sound like he has any reverence for the military. He dodged Vietnam by faking bone spurs. I believe no Trump has ever even served this country.

I guess it comes down to believing a compulsive liar over a decorated Marine. That’s the part I just don’t get. Don’t you know any liars in your personal or professional life? Do you ever believe them? Of course you don’t. So why is Trump different? Why does he have such a hold on so many people? Why can’t people see that he’s nothing but a malignant narcissist and charlatan?

P.S. I consider myself a moderate. I have views that are considered conservative and I have views that are considered liberal. I’m disgusted with the far right and I’m disturbed by some of the far left. Right now, I think the far right has taken over the GOP and I’m not going to support the party by voting for them.

I was going to when Trump was at 67%. Then I found out that it's illegal in my state.

I'm a Republican but don't really care who becomes President. I'm confident the GOP will win the Senate majority and the Supreme Court will help protect against unconstitutional executive actions if Harris wins

If anything, gridlock/status quo is good for me. And a stock market dip would be even sweeter

Because he's an American icon and has been for almost 50 years. Eveybody thought he was cool, successful and a badass until he ran for president. He was a developer, builder, was asked to be in movies, tv shows and tgen had his own for over a decade. Once he switched to Republican, democrats despised him.

Then, he did the unthinkable. He actually defeated the 'inevitible' Hillary Clinton in a stunning upset. So Repiblicans will ALWAYS love him for that. Then, he was attacked immediately, literally on election night by the intelligence heads, the media and democrats with the Russia, Steele dossier hoax. The media was literally screaming 'special counsel' and Comey was sceming how to entrap Flynn in some bullshit lie the DAY AFTER THE ELECTION. That pissed republicans off. That would piss you off too.

Then, once defeated, his enemies consistently and relentlessly bent over backwards to try to bankrupt him, seize his property and send him to prison. This pissed Republicans off and galvanized them even more. This would piss any Democrat off if it happened to your guy.

Does this make any sense to you? It's about as basic as I can break it down. I'm not being sarcastic but you really wanted to know. It's not even about his clumsy, innapropriate and coarse behavior when it comes to him anymore. It's all the shit that has happened and continues to happen ever since the escalator and the audacity he had defeat her.

Kamala’s ads where she isn’t in them are by far the best ads I have seen in awhile. She is winning the commercial game by a lot.

Trump probably does win Iowa but I just keep coming back to the Selzer poll. She never misses and when she does it's not by much. The worst result she's had since 2012 was the gubernatorial race in 2018, where she missed by 5 points. Even if she's off by that much this year I don't see how Trump winning Iowa by +2 isn't a canary in the coal mine for the blue wall.

He was a great guy...till he decided to get into politics and the media told you he's an evil, LGB hating racist.

I think Iowa has some unique things going on there and he hold by >5%. Other polls are still looking right there.

He was, and is, absolutely obsessed with fame. No one who knew him thought he was a “great guy.” He was known as the “short fingered vulgarian.” And like I said in my post, his history is well known. That includes his history of racism and bigotry.

I'm watching both of these candidates speak. They are clearly on auto pilot. It has to be 10x more difficult to run for President than preparing for the Bar exam. Harris did 5 rallies tonight, Trump 3 and that's just one day.
