Now it is official :

Like them or not, my Dad WILL be buying whatever they put on sale.
He will buy it because it represents ND and will argue with us till we give up that it looks perfectly acceptable to wear out to dinner. Hahaha!

I am sorry, let me explain, this is not "bige", this is his daughter. We have recently found out that my Dad has a neurological disorder. It has robbed my Dad of all of his movement. My Mom & I take turns reading this site to him to , "keep him up to date" with everything. I am a Notre Dame fan as well & I hope to attend Notre Dame after graduation, but I am not in my Dad's league! Hahaha, after reading this site to him I know why he LOVES it so. You guys are JUST like him!!!

Anyway, I told Dad I was going to post on here & make fun of him for his choice of dinner wear & I thought I should explain. GO IRISH

Let's get behind Big E!

Let's get behind Big E!

Prayers to you and your family!

On a personal, my real love and following for the Irish began during my Father's cancer treatment. He was the real Irish fan! He had the ties and underwear and everything else crazy that he could wear to show his support. When he had to be moved into the hospital, I spent my Saturday's watching the games with him. Some he would remember and talk to me about others not so much, but it was time I truly cherished. When he passed, I continued to follow the team so my Mom and I had something to discuss all the while remembering how much my Father loved the Irish.

Prayers on the way GB.

Guys if you could also pray for one of my employees. He's got cancer and has been receiving some aggressive and somewhat experimental treatment via a very selective program (and highly sought after). He just found out his counts are high and he is borderline stage 4. If he hits stage 4 officially, he can no longer receive treatment in the program. Great kid, great employee. Prayers for Chris please.

Reminds me of my relationship with my Grandma many years ago. We were ND fans together in the heart of Penn State Territory...:)

Hang in there man.

Two former high school teachers have a son named Braden. I believe he is middle school aged. What started off as sinus pain turned out to be cancer. Treated, went away. Started having more issues and he posted this yesterday:

"Braden Hartman: We found out today that the cancer came back, and is in multiple sites around my sinuses. I have the best doctors in the country, but the odds of recovery are far against me. The goal is to extend my time, and they are trying new chemo regimens and investigating if a surgery to remove it is even possible. Whatever happens, may Gods will be done. Join me on this journey, and follow the group: BraveHart.
'For I know the plans I have for you, says the lord. Plans to prosper and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future' -Jeremiah 29:11"

Please pray for this Elkhart, IN family.

GB,

If you need anything, I am there for you.

Bog T Rotter, VII (419) 742-2066

I had an experience with my father, when he was eighty-seven. He had a triple A, but surgery was so extensive, his gut suffered. Much like what you are describing with your grandma. I may be able to assuage your overwhelming response. Not your grief, but all the confusing things that attach themselves to it.

Sincerely,

Bogs

We all will keep the family, and Braden in our prayers :

METHA
May Braden be filled with loving kindness;
May Braden be healthy and strong;
May Braden be free of all dangers, internal or external.
May Braden be filled with the ease of well being.
May Braden be happy!

It really helps if you say the above verse with 'I' instead of 'Braden' the first time, and then for as many others as you would like to intend the prayer after Braden. The more you say it the stronger it gets.

May you find a peaceful place, along with Braden and his family!
