Well... he follows Dave Peloquin, Tom Loy, Pete Sampson and a bunch of porn stars on twitter. Looks promising.

He also follows Harbaugh and Tyrone Wheatley FWIW.

If he follows a bunch of porn stars, then he's a Notre Dame lock.

Yeah that Ishaq status not looking good is simply not true.

The only two non ND players that Peloquin followed recently are Scarlett and Sebastian. Definitely wouldn't mind them. Solid depth pieces. Its gonna be rare to get a solid starter/ NFL draft pick like riggs

BK said KVR is taking classes and likely to be readmitted. Then said he doesn't know what Ishaq doing or if he's even taking classes, and that his situation is more complicated than KVRs.

Ill bet a lot of vbucks Ishaq doesn't Come back.

I was really confused when BK said this today. How does BK not know what he's doing?

IDK, but the fact that he doesn't makes me personally think there's a good chance Ishaq is done at ND. Which really sucks. He was going to be my breakout player for the 3rd straight year, lol.

I'd imagine it would be fairly easy for a demoralized player back home 800 miles from campus to fall out of regular contact with the program, and maybe not follow through on whatever plan had been earlier agreed upon. Would be unfortunate if that's what's happening here though.

Makes Brennan Scarlett even more important. But would love to have them both.

Just once I'd love to see you throw guess out there without "backing it" with totally useless vBucks.

Not shooting the messenger here but that would be totally underwhelming for me. Don't need another RB now that we have 4 to start the season.

Especially when we don't use the ones we have.

You're on. I'm going to bet my vbucks. I get board having nothing to do with them. Idk why more people don't bet, but to each their own.

we do, in the Shamrock Sports Book. http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/golden-shamrock-sports-book/

On topic: listening to Kelly's PC again last night. He didn't want to fully commit to the 5th year transfer question as much as he didnt want to talk about upcoming coaching changes.

He has said in the past that transfers would have to be a rare student that could qualify to ND and help the team to be a 1 year transfer, but he prefers those with 3 years eligbility.

While we are doing a ton of "research" for 5th year guys, could it be someone we targeted just last cycle?

Ishaq was finally going to break out? Reality check folks. I realize he would've been veteran status, but there is younger, better talent on this team. Best of luck to him in his future, next.

I think you're undervaluing his pass rushing abilities. He was pretty disruptive in '12 and '13 in pure pass rushing situations. Thing is one of the DL studs usually cleaned up, but he was fairly regularly flushing the QB out of the pocket. I don't think he'll ever be the 5:s: we all hoped he'd be, but I do think he has a lot to offer where the DL needs it most- pass rushing. Outside of Trumbetti, what youngster can offer that this coming season?

Avery Sebastian, safety from Cal, is looking for a new home for his 5th year. 4 star out of Atlanta's Eagles Landing Christian Academy (Isaac Rochell HS). Have no idea if we or he is interested but would be nice depth at safety.

Good call, dw.

Has played in 24 games primarily on special teams but also with five starts at safety and in a reserve role at the position over his first three seasons with the program despite missing all but most of the first half of the season-opening contest of his 2013 junior campaign due to injury
► Has recorded 75 tackles to rank third on Cal’s active career list, while adding 2.0 tackle for loss (-7 yards), one interception that ties for second among Cal’s active leaders, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry
► Has led Cal in tackles three times with a career-high 14 as a 2012 sophomore vs. Arizona State, 10 stops along with his lone career interception in less than one half of action in the season-opening game of his 2013 junior season vs. Northwestern, and 10 at Utah when he also had career bests of 1.0 tackle for loss and one quarterback hurry with his lone career pass breakup vs. Oregon both during sophomore campaign
► Changed his last name from Walls to Sebastian when he turned 18 years of age prior to the 2011 season
