Defense was really bad. You say ND stopped in the red zone. I say BC surrendered 0 pts vs WF. WF moved the ball all day long. Everyone acting like ND has some smashmouth fb because it stopped one the nations worst teams by 3 scores, including a defensive score and a 98 yard 1 play gain.

ND has no right to be top 4. Im not even convinced top 10.
Go home, you're drunk.

Jonathan Vilma said he loved it :) I thought it was awesome too. I know we can't afford for Kizer to get hurt, but I love physicality from the QB position. There is nothing more demoralizing than getting trucked by a QB other than maybe getting lit up by a kicker or punter.

Loved it too, but damn was anyone else getting frustrated with the designed qb runs for Kizer in the 4th Q? Why take a risk of getting him hurt? At my ND party everyone was begging for BK to keep airing it out to get some style points. It was one of the worst called games offensively in the BK era, imo.

If you say that giving up all those yards to a glorified high school team was acceptable then I may have to ask you to get your blood alcohol checked sir.

Please tell me a top 10 team, three weeks from the end of the season, should be giving up more yards than they actually make to a 3 win team? Does that really sound like a championship caliber team to you?

You can say ND took the day off because it was Senior day but the fact is, if they play like that versus anyone in the top ten, they lose period.

Eh, so who's in your top 10? Ohio state, Oklahoma state, and Iowa played a similar type of game last weekend. Hopefully they aren't in your top 10 either?

Are teams not allowed to have an "off" game? I'll take an off game like this all day long. In years past, ND teams that showed up flat often lost to the Syracuse's and Northwestern's of the world. I like where we are.

What's wrong with you? How can you be reasonable?

We are all supposed to wallow in misery and disappointment because ND only won by 21 in a game that they controlled throughout. NEED MOAR STYLE POINTS.

I was there and saw people on the sidelines- reporters or hosts or ushers or whatever they were, laughing and picking them up and throwing them back into the crowd. This might have encouraged some to throw them back at them on the sideline again and there really isn't a lot of room on the sidelines for it.

fair enough...if the sidelines engaged, then its hard to hammer kids for keeping it up.

however, there were a couple that were launched onto the field during play...like 15-20 yards onto the playing surface...if that was an accidental overthrow, sign that person up for the baseball team....or for QB depth.

While understanding it is hard to get up and be totally sharp against a team you should dominate, I also don't want to see a repeat against a BC team the Irish should dominate as well. Two weeks of sub par play invites bad habits to creep in. I want to see the Irish come out and dominate BC in every facet of the game - offense, defense, special teams.

Anyone know of a replay?

I've literally forgot to record all but one game this year.

Man I hate this argument. You play who is across the field from you. You do what you need to do in that specific game to win. That is all.

If Clemson would have played us the same way they played Syracuse this week, we would be undefeated...

Seriously, why is anyone responding to Wingman Ray. I'm 99% sure he is a rival fan. All the dude does is dump on ND.

This is a bit of an overreaction. If you look at the time of possession, the yardage stats make a lot of sense. ND put up almost 300 yards, but only held the ball around 17 minutes, that is quite an efficient day.

Wake played the TOP game they needed to even make it close, and at the end of the day, the (vastly) superior size, speed, and talent controlled the whole game

I rewatched the play were Andrew Trumbetti ran it in and the announcers said that Sheldon Day tiped it? It didn't look like that too me, it looked like it slipped out of the quarterback's hand.
