Did anyone else see Greg Bryant dancing when they were showing Kelly on the sidelines, I think in the 4th quarter? That was awesome.
I'll give 100 million vbucks for a gif of it.
Some questions, maybe the more informed can answer.
1. how bad are the injuries?
2. Is redfield out for the next game or part of the next game?
3. How does hazell get his hat to look like that?
1. Details are somewhat sparse. Some are nagging injuries like Lombard's high ankle sprain, Baratti's re-injured shoulder probably needs surgery. Amir could be 2 weeks or longer.
2. He's served his time as it was a 1st half offense.
3. Two opposable thumbs.
Sorry if already discussed somewhere, but was anyone else surprised to see Tranquill play safety last night instead of Farley?
Don't get me wrong, I love getting the youngster quality reps, but why take that risk when you have an experienced player like Farley?
Is it that Farley was needed at nickel? I didn't notice him out there a ton but I was watching the game in a social situation so I wasn't able to pay attention as closely as I would have liked, and I may have just missed it.
SIAP but does anyone have a link to a replay of the game?
Bump. Also still looking for one.
I did, it was great! He was happy with the W just like all of us should be.
I didn't realize it until a bit ago, but last week some of the biggest victories were Virginia Tech over Ohio State, Southern Cal over Stanford, and Notre Dame over Michigan.
Considering how much of a letdown Virginia Tech and Southern Cal were, I think we all should indeed just be happy for the victory and move on. It's like the NCAA tournament, just survive and move on.
I wanted a huge blowout victory so Golson could pad stats, but he's still on pace for ~3,300 yards and 30 touchdowns...and no interceptions haha
All things considered, I'm okay with the win.

Just enjoy their sorrow for a moment and realize that Notre Dame won by 16 points. It was much worse for some ranked teams.

This. All you can do is beat everyone you play. Not gonna be 100% every night, just gotta find a way when you're 80%.

Also here. NBC Sports
Been a rough couple weeks. Missed Michigan game live because of my wedding - ironically which was in Ann Arbor. Made sure I didn't get a score update til after the game. It was great to taste their tears in the heart of campus and subsequently order the band to play the fight song. Also missed Purdue game because of honeymoon.
Now we go into a bye. Jesus.
Didn't know Frank Zappa was a USC fan
You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until wifey wants to have a Tupperware party FSU weekend.

I said it in the Purdue thread that I was hoping for a blowout but prepared for a close game. I was at the game and to me one of the things that hurt us was getting off to a fast start, given that it was Purdue. I think the team let up just a tad and add that with Purdue playing like this was their game of the year made it close. I liked the fact that BVG didn't bring a lot of pressure early, but made adjustments at halftime that paid dividends. Never good to have injuries or miss players, but if it had to happen this was the ideal time. Backups got some quality time in meaningful minutes.
It's great the leadership role EG has decided to take! In the 2nd quarter after going 3 and out he pulled the team together and.. “Everett stepped up,” said Corey Robinson. “He pulled the team together after a three-and-out, ‘Look we gotta refocus here, it’s not about anything else. It’s not about anyone else. It’s about our team. We put too much work into this. We’ve worked too hard. We gotta fight for each other. We gotta fight with each other. We gotta fight through this adversity. We’re gonna come back, we’re gonna win this game.’”
Good stuff for a guy in his 14th start and 13-1
If you’re reading this, you’re more tuned in than the average ND fan. Does it ever get awkward for you when you meet ND fans (or any other fan of whoever you follow) that claim to be die hard but struggle with the team names/info? I work with a guy who’s awesome and keeps up with the games, but he misses things. Doesn’t know Greg Bryant’s name, calls Redfield ‘Redman’, and doesn’t know the DL at all. We talk every Monday for about 15 minutes and I’m a nice person believe it or not, so I don’t correct him, but it makes it pretty awkward.
I’m by no means picking on the guy. He probably follows other teams in other sports and I spend all of my time on ND, so good for him. But that’s just how I feel when I come across these fans, lol.
haha yeah i know a few guys/family members like that but most of them are alum's/fans of other schools. They have a habit of "missing" games their teams lose too because they were "doing family stuff" and what not![]()

Well how old is he? It gets hard to remember things when you start getting up there.
