Bullshit call. It wasn't the "right call". Absolute bullshit. How was that different from the holding against Riggs. The defender had his hands around Procise...you can't tell who was holding who...worse of all is the when it was called....absolute bullshit.

Almost forgot... Jimbo's comments at the end of the game made me ill. FSU is so institutionnally corrupt that no one seems to recognizes right from wrong over there.

Just gonna say my two cents on that PI call:

Yes, Prosise did make contact on the DB. He put his shoulder down into him an pushed forward.

However, Jalen Ramsey, ENGAGED Prosise. He had his hands on Prosise's waist/hips.

Don't know if that counts for anything, but hey, it legit happened.

It's done.

It's a complete waste of time to keep talking and lamenting over something you can't change.

Would the offensive PI call been made had it was F$U on offense?

If you watch it again, you'll also see the DB tug on his jersey

I also thought the PI call on Riggs in the end zone after holding them on third down and giving them a fresh set of downs, in addition to the missed holding calls on their OL were pretty important.

BUT I am so proud of all our guys, the staff, and the University. We came to play football tonight. I disagree about moral victories, there are many facets to every endeavor. Everything complex has nuance, we won in every way but one tonight. So proud of my Irish!

Can't rep you but wish I could.

Never in my life have I experienced such jubilation only to hear those awful words of "flag in the end zone" and have it ripped away!

I don't care about whether or not the PI was PI or not! The way it was played can be called either way, the DB was playing bump and run and was PULLING on Prosise! YOU CANNOT MAKE that call in that situation!

He had his hands on CJ's upper pads. You can see him pulling on Prosise's jersey and as for Fuller, Darby steps in front of him and stops him.

Did he put his shoulder down or was his shoulder pulled down?

This is ND... No such thing as moral victories... Sorry.... Cfb is won in part in national perception, you win or suck. Tough but true.

Holy shit balls we got absolutely hosed.

I didn't think it was that bad of a call when I first saw it... upon second review their DB GRABS AND PULLS CJ's JERSEY as he "jams" him... and we're the ones who get called for offensive pass interference.

Just absolutely unreal. Played well enough to win the game. Stolen. Worse than Bush Push in 2005.

Still think it was a BS call.

Game ball goes to the Oline. Folston had holes to run through all night.

As a close second, Joe Schmidt and CRob played great games tonight.

My only takeaway, sans the heart that was ripped out of my chest:

I've never heard such overwhelmingly positive commentary from the "experts" after an ND loss. ND isn't going to drop more than three spots, and there will be losses amongst the teams ahead of them. If they win out, they will be in the playoff. The nation knows ND can compete now. We already knew it, but now everyone else does too.

The committee will be doing everything they possibly can to arrange an FSU-ND rematch in the playoffs if ND takes care of business. And I'm convinced now that the only team that can cause ND problems is ASU and their tempo.

Tell me again how its a call on Prosise. Ramsey grabs the back of Prosise.

Great heart shown tonight. Tough tough place to play.

Winston is worse than toilet scum, but he's Heisman winner for a reason. With time, he finds someone; when blitzed, he knows who's open because of the blitz. And he doesn't make many even slightly inaccurate passes.

Related to this last point, VanGorder did what he could with a young defense, and needed a great effort by the DLine to do it, and he got it, and still Winston was just good enough.

Folston ran great. He appears to be taking the lead role, though I still want Bryant to get some action.

Robinson is going to be the great WR I've felt he would be ever since he drew that PI against Michigant State last year. Great instincts and developing the physical skills to be fantastic.

Generally, excellent work by the O Line.

I thought Golson played well, but I think he went down earlier than he needed to on the last-drive run to the eight yard line. He could have gotten to the five or closer. I think fumblelitis was on his mind and he wanted to protect the ball, but I would have liked the yards. It would change the subsequent play calls.

I also didn't care for the next play -- the pass in the flat to Prosise for a loss.

Still, they gave it their best on a pressure drive, in hostile circumstances, with young players. I don't know if that was the right call or not -- I defer to those with better knowledge of the rules than me -- but you don't see that called very often, that I know. Also, I don't know if it is still pass interference if the block has no effect on the play, because Robinson was getting pass because no one was covering him. Prosise didn't block the back covering Robinson. There was no back covering Robinson. The guy Prosise blocked was holding Prosise at the beginning of the play.

A lot of composure by young guys. Extremely proud of them. Extremely proud to be a fan. Kelly is showing that he really is elite.

Also, a bit disappointed that Folston only had 3 carries in the third quarter. Only complaint, until I can sleep on the PI call at least.
