Post Game Observations (Florida State '14)

Folston needs the ball more.
Golson play a good game even though he still needs to learn to throw the ball out of bounds.
The d-line was amazing.
Fuller is just being Fuller at this point.
Good game for Robinson.
BVG didn't make right adjustments after half and exposed the DBS.
Farley is good against ok teams but against very good he got schooled.
Loved Kelly showing his trust in the first half and going for it on 4th down expect the one at the 50 and they challenged the call was bad on his part.
Overall great effort for the team. It's a shame it had to end on a players mental error.

O line finally came together. They need to get tougher but huge improvement.

It's hard to second guess Kelly but I think we should have committed more to the run. It was there all day.

I thought our safety's played awful tonight! I thought Winston played a great second half. I thought our O-line and D-line dominated. I thought that the touchdown was a penalty, but is one that is never called. If it was ND v. Wake a Forest that call is never made!

My only problem with the offensive PI is the amount of other plays where the refs put the whistles away, but then decide the game on a call like that. Not saying it was wrong but there a lot of blatant calls go

Exactly...the defensive guy jammed prosise at the line...So you can't charge forward when that happens? It's a terrible Fucking call in any situation, especially when it decides the game...PERIOD

That was about as ticky tack a call as I have ever seen decide a game.

I also thought the PI call on Riggs in the end zone after holding them on third down and giving them a fresh set of downs, in addition to the missed holding calls on their OL were pretty important.

BUT I am so proud of all our guys, the staff, and the University. We came to play football tonight. I disagree about moral victories, there are many facets to every endeavor. Everything complex has nuance, we won in every way but one tonight. So proud of my Irish!

The call was correct. If it wasn't Prosise it was on Fuller.

ND is better than I thought they were. I was impressed by the Oline opening huge holes against a talented FSU front. And Folston is the man.

Everett played a hell of a game. If ND wins he is the Heisman front runner and pass to Robinson is the Heisman moment.

The defense was very impressive in the first half but Winston played like a Heisman winner in the second. I'm not ready to pile on BVG or the defense. Sometimes a great player just out plays you and I think that's what happened tonight.

We are a top 5 team in my mind. We won't be top 5 in the polls tomorrow but fuck the polls. I would put the 3 undefeated teams and Bama ahead of us and that's it. If ND wins out they will be in.

This is a tough pill to swallow after dominating the first half and having the game-winning TD taken off the board but at the end of the year, if ND takes care of business, this loss doesn't sink them.

That was one hell of a game and I would love a rematch at a neutral site later in the year.
