She 100% didI've listened to it 5 times now. Kathryn Tappen absolutely called TCU the Horn Dogs during the half time update. Hilarious.

For good reason. I think he only beat them one out of four times IIRC.Goolsby will be pumped. He hates BC.
Jawanza fucking StarlingThat loss was hardly on Tommy. Dayne Crist fumble at the goal line, 99 yard return TD. 14 point swing.
That was a hell of a throw. Maybe his best all season.Postgame Thoughts:
1) Name Benjamin Morrison a Freshman All American. Why did BC continue to throw it his way!?
2) Congrats to Foskey...to bad he couldn't break the record and sack Phil.
3) Michael Mayer- Notre Dame man. He has been fun to watch this year.
4) More of Sneed on defense. I didn't see Kollie out there, but I think Sneed and Kollie can make a difference vs USC.
5) Nice to see our 3 headed RB crew all get a TD.
6) Colzie and Styles each had a nice play- like our LB group, our young WR group is going to be good. Patience.
7) It seems like it's been 7 straight games Pyne has had a pass knocked down.
8) Pyne needs to roll out more, that was a pass he had to Colzie.
9) For those who were there- nice to see a flyover, wish they were for every game.
10) A nice confident win heading into USC. On paper ND has a lot of talent. They need to utilize it especially at WR and LB.
Go Irish!!
Wait what? If he can hit a deep ball go play action out if that, sneak Colzie up the seam and send a running back on a wheel route. Lol.Evans played QB his entire senior year in HS so he is a perfect candidate for the short yardage situations. Not only can he run, he can keep the D off balance with a handoff (like to Estime) as well throw a surprise pass.

The bad part a out it though is if he has just thrown the ball on time when he stepped up to avoid the pressure, Colzie was open, it was a much easier throw and with an accurate throw there was room to run after the catch. He is not anticipating at all and now seeing the throws until after the window has passed most of the time. That was a hell of a throw. Maybe his best all season.
Be interesting to see the answer given for no Angeli in garbage time. This was not asked in the post-game presser as it’s more of a Monday presser question (according to one of the beat writers). Could be as simple as Angeli being under the weather but was surprising.
Yeah, I agree. Those flyovers pump up the crowd. I hope Freeman looks into having a flyover for every home game next season. That fly over was sweet!

Amen. Their band knows how to play one damn song, and they play it anytime they score, get a first down, wipe their butts, remember to breathe, or they pick their nose. They're a bunch of talent-less assclowns.I sat right behind the USC band that game. No one had a worse time than me
BC had it well scouted.ND failed to block a punt, and I'm a bit more mad about it than I should be.
I wonder how much that costs
I know Estime and Diggs aren't exactly shrimps, but if I'm going to have a guy get tough yards and get hit by a whole load of big defensive linemen I'd rather it be a big TE that isn't getting a lot of hits right now. Estimate and Diggs are going to eat their fair share of shots already during a game, best to keep them healthy if we have another option. Mitch-a-palooza has been very successful for picking up short yards when the defense is selling out, and it's going to lead to a TE pass at some point. Keep it rolling while it's working. Not only that, but it'll help keep the RB's YPC average up.I am not opposed to doing it every once in a while. But like I said you Have Estime and Diggs that are dragging people. Let the dogs keep eating.
One of Diggs most impressive runs was inside the 20 and only went for like 9 yards. He literally dragged the line backer for 6 of the 9.

I assume we didn’t get to see Angeli due to weather?

I think the staff wants to preserve his red-shirt. At this point in the season, he can play in the final two games and still maintain it.
Watching Angeli handoff to walk on RB Cormac O'Sullivan III (whose great grandfather played for Rockne) would have been the absolute highlight of my weekend.
