Clay Travis mentioned this some time ago. White privilege has been overtaken by Asian privilege. When you look at education and income, the Asians are crushing it in the US.

We discussed this a few years back. I tried to but couldn't find the discussion. I had mentioned a book written by a Stanford professor and her studies led to an interesting conclusion. The success of Asians in America had nothing to do with wealth at the outset as a good majority were the poorest of the poor when they arrived. It was the cultural belief in the following that has led to their success.

1) Strong emphasis in family structure and family values.
2) Respect for authority figures
3) Strong emphasis on education

I was very close to two Chinese girls (sisters) and their family. Their father and his parents are a remarkable story, but in short, you nailed it with those 3. I'd just add a 4th in "hard work". I can still hear their father saying "he's so lazy" when describing one of the girl's husband, at every cook out or get together we had.

Yup, I remember in high school they were BEGGING us to go into more trades. In my university's town (Waterloo), the amount of American's that come up to recruit is incredible. Seem's like half my graduating class ended up in San Fran or NYC.

She wanted to get out of the "hick" town she lived in (It wasn't) and move to Seattle because they were more progressive. She planned to work for Equal Rights Washington after college and "Help the homos" as she put it. She wanted me to quit my job and go with her, fuck that. I can't help but wonder if she doesn't regret moving to her echo chamber now given the state of Seattle with Antifa, the homeless situation, and the mucked up economy. Hell, maybe she thinks it's paradise? What a screwball.

Because the situation is totally under control, lol They're having discussions on when to move back in. The police are having discussions on when they can operate in their own precinct. That's absolutely ludicrous.

This reminds me of the occupy wall street movements that happened. They're cool and creative until we realize that it's a place of rampant hardcore drug use and disgusting behavior.

I lived and worked next to the one in Downtown Portland and it was the most vile and disgusting thing I've ever seen in-person.

Texas has a significant amount of right wing groups advocating violence and other extremists who showing up at rallies. Include coronavirus skeptics/deniers, anti-vaxers, anti-government, etc. Alex Jones of InfoWars who's a right wing conspiracy buff showed up in their Humvee at a protest of hundreds in Austin organized by InfoWars recently. Jones claims Sandy Hook was a hoax, etc. He told the crowd that “Texas is leading the way against the tyrants.” Jones blamed the Chinese government, globalists, communists, reporters and the Deep State for damage done by pandemic, which he called “a bioweapon meant to shut down our economy.” and says President Barack Obama "sold China" the virus. Hundreds marched on the Capitol.
